Who else is missing the good ol' 5.25 drive bay ? I know now days you don't really need it anymore but it can still be useful.... Ex: I still need a DVD' s I had a lot of problems with 2 laptops and 1 pc where they just couldn't connect to the internet and needed some software from a old DVD ( nothing I downloaded worked ) I want a HDD/ SSD connection port. I plan to install more operating systems on multiple cheap HDD to try them out ( for fun :)) and I don't want to reinstall or have a single ps for all of them And what is with fan controllers ? Some people use them So a 5.25 drive bay can still be usefull

Hi everyone, I'm in a dilemma right now.... Should I upgrade from haswell to coffee lake or wait ? I want to upgrade before the official death of windows 7 in January 14 2020 ( I know win10 can work on my rig but I want to start completely fresh ) And I don't want to get something new now and find out I could get something better for that money Point is I don't upgrade often... My last upgrade ( besides the gpu ) was in 2014 so I expect my next upgrade to be 2025 - 2027 I have a i7 4790 with 32 gigs of RAM on a z97 msi motherboard with a GTX 1060... I bought a 2560x1440 144hz monitor and surprise... I couldn't even run games in 20 fps My current monitor is a ultrawide 1080p with 75hz ( no proplem for my current rig ) Anyway what got me on upgrading was the fact that in Minecraft with my current rig I get only 30 fps WITH 8 RENDER DISTANCE ! AND Minecraft is a couple intense game so.... Is there a official release date for ice/cannon lake ? I heard it would be hopefully before 2020
