  1. Gigabit would probably be your best option from what you have said. Switch (24 Port): https://www.amazon.com/Linksys-24-Port-Metallic-Gigabit-SE3024/dp/B00EXIQ0ZY/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=linksys+switch&qid=1592249082&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A21162160011&rnid=5102031011&s=pc&sr=1-1 or (Rack Mount) https://www.amazon.com/Linksys-LGS124-Rackmount-Unmanaged-Enclosure/dp/B00H1OQBLA/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=linksys+switch&qid=1592249082&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A21162160011&rnid=5102031011&s=pc&sr=1-3
  2. I would say you now need more clock speed as more threads on OBS doesn't sync up well. Maybe improving your GPU can help out. It all depends on the situation.
  3. Also the Video Card, you can save some bucks there: https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-RTX2060-V375-035R-Graphics-GeForce/dp/B07MVZM78T/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=msi+geforce+rtx+2060+6gb+gaming+z+video+card&qid=1592248667&s=amazon-devices&sr=1-2 **I am not an expert on video cards**
  4. The hard-drive is something you can reduce cost. Here is something I recommend: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seagate-Barracuda-internal-silver-ST1000DM010/dp/B01LY65EVG/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1O4XYKKOJF3DT&dchild=1&keywords=1tb+hardrive&qid=1592248583&s=amazon-devices&sprefix=1tb+hard%2Camazon-devices%2C257&sr=1-2
  5. https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/macbook-air A Macbook Air should do it for you! A Macbook has a type of trackpad that won't make you regret. And the smoothness and responsiveness of macos makes me as a student wanting to learn more.
  6. I apologize in advance but I don't think we can see that clear. If it boots and you are able to get into an OS, you should be fine. Just check the system info to make sure all your components are showing up, and that nothing is over heating. Simple steps would help you to understand if everything is working right.
  7. -- No longer need -- I am looking for a mini device that could make a monitor that is currently useless capable of running like Google Docs or at least a web browser. My budget is around $25. Would enjoy suggestions for something like this from Amazon! Thanks!
  8. This used to happen rarely now it happened 3 times in a row this morning. Also, the battery was above 50% when this was happening. And this used to happen on Lineage OS, so I am sure it is not a ROM issue. (probably)
  9. So I am currently daily driving a Samsung Galaxy s3, and I am really confused about why it is doing unexpected shutdowns. Usually depends on the application I am using. For example, if I am scrolling through YouTube and the videos like "auto" play, the phone will just go blank, and then I will realize it shut down. I am using a custom rom of Reserrection Remix OS. Would love to hear suggestions! Thanks for your time!
  10. My apologies. I taught that said 200 KB/s. Was replying too fast. Here is a discussion post on Google Forum you can check out: https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/8367249?hl=en
  11. Its fine! I read the title, but didn't remember that fact when you wrote it. So, you should be getting around 500 KB/s when downloading files. To my knowledge, Chrome and Microsoft Edge report download speeds in MB/s while Steam reports in mb/s. So, you your speedtest shows that you should be fine in these two cases: - Chrome/Edge report 558 KB/s - Steam: 4.36 mb/s MB/s = MegaBytes per Second (normally what you see in your file browser) mb/s = megabits per Second (what ISP's advertise) Feel free to ask questions about something you don't understand!
  12. What browser are you using? What speeds do you get when you do a speedtest.net test? Also, do you understand the difference between mb/s vs MB/s and kb/s vs KB/s.
  13. You could put the new router in AP mode meaning Access Point where it would be part of existing network!
  14. So it probably doesn't have a HDMI or VGA built in port probably.
  15. I have a 25/3 plan, and it is incredible. Especially the 9ms ping! I never run into bottlenecks!
  16. I have Xfinity, and we use our own modem without any fees from them!
  17. True. Also, don't get caught in the "NEW" customer pricing, think about after 1 or 2 years how much they will charge you!
  18. He says he is the only one, so 100mb/s is good enough! And, skip on the ISP provided equipment and go searching for your one! That will save you money! And try to get your installation fees waived also!
  19. I think you mean: 100mb/s for $20 - 12.5 MB/s 200mb/s for $40 - 25 MB/s 1gb/s for $75 - 128 MB/s
  20. Can you let us know the city ZipCode! And maybe a nearby address so we can look them up for you! (DO NOT give us your real address)
