Should be Ok, the price is steep, even for msrp, but as long as in works fine that may be a good deal considering the situation right now. See if they would take a little less anyway.
Some of the newer games run smoother on 6 or more cores, but a 6700k can still game.

I am sure this isn't the first time this has happened. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers this week and instantly noticed a decrease in performance.
 
My screen was noticeably blurry and went from getting 150+ fps to barely getting 30. 
 
I googled around and tried out these older legacy drivers and it fixed the issues: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96079/en-us
 
If you have a 970 you might want to try this out.

All of the people on our team went perfect. I had just joined thats why I only had 1 kill...

Most likely because graphics cards are not meant to be folded. They have a PCB and heat sick....its supposed to stay straight.

I have that same laptop! Except my problem was the fan does not speed up when needed so It fried who knows what....
