  1. Hi guys,

So, I have a GPU with an HDMI input and a DisplayPort input and I want to connect 2 monitors (both are 75hz 1080p and only have 2 HDMI ports , no DisplayPort input). I have tried HDMI-HDMI and it gives me 75hz, but now I am left only with the DP port on the GPU. If I buy a DisplayPort to HDMI cable (for example, this one) will I be able to get 1080p75hz on my second monitor?

    Thanks in advance

Yes, or it is because it is a mining card.

It is possible that it was set in the factory to not go above 60hz, because they assumed it would be used only for mining.

But when I get the resolution down to 800x600 it can actually get the 75hz

How high quality is the adapter?

You may need to get one that supports 75Hz

I would say it is pretty high quality. The HDMI adapter is an HDMI 1.4, both of the connectors are gold platted and have copper conductors. (This is what is says on the box).

  4. Hi guys, so I have an RX 470 Mining Edition, meaning it only has one DVI port. I use a DVI-D to HDMI cable to connect it to my monitor. I got a new LG monitor that is capable of 1080p75hz but when I go on the display settings windows just shows me the option to get to 60hz. I was wondering if this was a DVI-D to HDMI cable problem, since if I lower the resolution to 800x600 it actually gets me to 75hz.

    Thanks!
