  1. I recently bought the Corsair Void Pro headset. While testing the microphone, I noticed its volume is extremely low. For example, while using discord, my friends have to boost my volume up to 200% and they say it's still low. This didn't happen with any of my previous headsets. I checked the volumes in the mic properties and it's set all the way up to 100%, and there is no boost option. What should I do?
  2. Hi. I've been looking for a mechanical keyboard with ISO layout, but I can't seem to find many. I have only found the Naceb Scorpius, which is cheap and seems fine, but I have never used anything from Naceb. Anyway, I'd like to see if you could help me search or give me opinions about the Naceb Scorpius. Naceb Scorpius: https://www.naceb.com.mx/scorpius-na0924
  3. Hi, I'm not the one having this particular problem, it's actually a friend of mine, but he doesn't speak English. Anyway, the problem is that after using his laptop for a while (for playing League of Legends most of the time), his screen gets this blue tint. It doesn't get the "blue screen of death" from windows, it just gets a bit blue, and the sound completely cuts out for him, so he doesn't hear me, but I can hear him with distortion, so I can barely understand him. His computer doesn't get slower or anything, just the problems mentioned before. Restarting his laptop fixes this problem, but it always comes back after a while of being active on the computer. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
  4. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate the fact that you stopped me from getting a new CPU. The issue was not Windows, the issue was actually the cooler. I upgraded, again, to a different cooler and temps go perfect. Games now go smooth at max graphics and the cpu doesn't heat up. Thanks for the help!
  5. I've been investigating a little bit, maybe my voltages are wrong? I'm wondering if you could help me figure out if these are correct.
  6. No, I run every single game on 1080 fullscreen mode, with fps limited to 60. However, I usually can't get up to those fps in open world games.
  7. I've been having problems for a while with my build. At first, I thought it was the CPU thermal throttling, but it seems to be something else. I decided to run benchmarks and it looks like I've got a CPU bottleneck. I upgraded to an RTX 2070, but it's greatly underperforming during gaming (about 40fps in GTA V with medium graphics for example). I'm not really sure if this is my problem tho, so that's why I'm asking for help. If it is, should i get an i7-8700k, a ryzen 2700x, or just something else? My build is: GPU: RTX 2070 RAM: 16GB CPU: i7-4790k PSU: Corsair CS850M (850W) Mobo: GA-Z97X-SLI
  8. I'm having problems with my CPU's temps, but it probably is because I'm using the stock cooler, so I decided to get a new one. The thing is, I have no idea if it will fit my case, and even though I've seen the measurements, I still get a little bit confused. It's the first time I'm messing with CPU cooler heights so, I pretty much have no idea what to do. My case is a Thermaltake V3 Black Edition - vl84521 W2u. The CPU Cooler I want to get is: be quiet! Pure Rock https://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/532 Could you help me figure out if it will fit my case? I appreciate any help on this topic.
  9. Still, if it's a problem with the legs I'm guessing I'll just change my cooler. I think that's better than just using the stock one.
  10. It goes a bit down when i press it, just a bit.
  11. The clocks do significantly drop. Sorry, forgot to add that.
  12. Just checked it. The BIOS CPU temps are 90°C
  13. I'd like to add that the ambient temperature is always around 30°C.
  14. It has copper in the base. I get what you mean about the stock cooler's performance and 4th gen's heat, but is it normal to have those temps at low loads?
  15. I just have no idea if it's a cooler problem or not. I've been searching a little bit and apparently the stock cooler isn't really good for gaming at all. The thing that bothers me is the fact that it reaches such high temperatures with low loads, that's the one thing that I don't understand.
  16. Should I change the cooler?
  17. All the push pins are set up correctly. The voltage is 1.1V.
  18. You mean the monitoring software? I've used Core Temp and CPU-Z, and both mark the CPU thermal throttling.
  19. I did change the thermal paste, but the problem still continued.
  20. I've been having some problems for quite a long time now, mostly because of my CPU apparently. I have an RTX 2070 as GPU and an i7-4790 as CPU, but whenever I play open world games, they just don't even run at 60fps, or if they do, I keep getting frame drops. My GPU load is quite low during gaming, as I only play in 1080 because of my current monitor, but when I check the CPU temps, it somehow reaches 100°C at 35% load, and I don't understand why. I'm not sure if theres a problem with the seat detects the temperatures, because when I actually touch the side of my case where the CPU is, it doesn't even feel hot at all. I have no idea what's going on, and I hope you can help me with this.
  21. Thanks for the help anyway. Feels good to have people like you guys around here
  22. I don't run Wildlands on max settings, but benchmarks seem to have similar performance to mine. On ultra settings, it apparently even drops to 30fps, so I'm guessing it's just a game optimization problem.
  23. I've been doing some testing and the problem continues. Everything is plugged in correctly. GTA V is one of the open-world games that I've tested so far that works perfectly. It has very smooth framerate, but the other ones barely manage to stay at 60.
