  1. Update: I found a 512gb sata ssd laying around, so that replaced the 256gb games drive. Still trying to get Cyberpunk to load properly using the dedicated gpu. But I may just get a larger ssd for the boot drive and dual boot windows/mint at this point.
  2. Hello everyone! I am currently prepping my laptop for games so I can take with me to LTX. I know there is plenty of time but I wanted to get all of the bugs worked out ahead of time. And gives me something to play around with. I've installed Linux Mint 21 (cinnamon) on my Lenovo Ideapad 700-15IK. The specs are not the greatest, but should be enough to play most games at low settings. The only issue I am having so far is Cyberpunk 2077. Every time I try to load it with the dedicated GPU, it goes from a red screen, to black, to a blueish full screen. I cannot get it to load up the menu screens or even launch into the game. But it does load fine if I use the integrated gpu. I've never had this issue on my desktop, which is also running Mint 21, and an RTX 2070. All I needed to do was enable proton and set it to experimental and I was good to go. Any ideas on what the heck is going on here? Also, If there are any recommendations on what games I should install to prep for LTX, I'd love to hear them! System: 1x nvme ssd 256gb (OS) 1x 2.5" sata ssd 256gb (game storage) BIOS: UEFI, Secure boot disabled. Power modes set to max performance GPU Driver version: 525.60.11 Nvidia PRIME mode: Performance (also tried on demand mode) Proton version: Proton Experimental (also tried GE-Proton7-43, Proton 5.13-6, Proton 6.3-8, and Proton 7.0-5) Other troubleshooting steps: shows properly when running igpu, tried connecting external monitor to see if its something weird with the passthrough to the internal display but no success. 983815346_Cyberpunkweirdscreen.mkv
