Hello, I am a lucky and happy owner of an Refrence RX 6800 and after a 2.5 month wait my rtx 3080 TUF came in, the plan was to ditch the 6800 after the 3080 came but now that I have run some benchmarks I am not really sure what I even want to do anymore. I have a custom loop and I already have a block for the 3080 but with a vcore unlock and tdp raised the 6800 could be really good value. Running on 1900fck ram 16Gb@3800mhz and 5600x stock, on a Asus x470 pro. Resolution 2560x1440 (Predator XB271HU so an G-sync monitor but I could change it) RTX 3080 TUF (Only +900Mclock) (Cost 760 € inc Finnish VAT of 24%) could sell it atleast for 900 € so I could pay the 6800 and get a block for it and "still be in the green". I have to admit that didn't fully read the og post but yeah updating drivers / bios as you did, fast check if you notice anything weird, if so ask the client does he / she know what it is, one possibility is antivirus is running while working if it is a older / slower machine so time it for a lunch brake etc & finally for freezing or unresponsive etc I would check temps & as ppl have noted check the storage drive. After that I would just say if it continues bring it in so you can troubleshoot it more, ofc with in your companies protocol how to handle these things.

Remember always ask if she or he has tried to restart the comp / program. My number one tip right there.

1070 is alot better unless you are going to use 10 bit monitors as "counsumer" gpu cannot output 10 bit display signal.

Hi, I have this chair my shoulders aren't so big so the wings don't matter to me & I recommend to build this with a somebody! Yeah those leg "wings" are not so nice for movement but they keep you on a ergonomic position easily and I can sit in this many hours but for me THE buying reason was that this was almost 150 € cheaper than the other chair's. --> Link to my pic's <--

I have those processor's lying around along time but now i am building a present pc to my friend but can't decide witch cpu to pic. The "birthday build" is a old mainstream gaming pc becouse his screen resolution is only 1366x768, Build contanes a Asus M4N72-E has ACC/NVCC but i have tried allready the unlock phenom 2, a Athlon II stock cooler so it is not really ment these kind of tpd, A 5770 with artic cooler, Corsair CX400, Case is a old siemens computer, it is not really not the best with airflow but it is a decent one (i will add a pic) and i will get a better HDD and more ram from his existing computer what is a OEM lga775. At the moument there is a IDE hdd and only 2gb ddr2 so i cant really test heavygames with the system. Operating system is Win7 64bit (of course). I was thinking the hole picture. The old phenom has 1 more core with is nice but the drawback is that it kicks more heat to the case. The phenom 2 kicks less heat but it does only have 2 cores and these days when multicore games are popular it's not really ideal. Benchmark scores can't tell anything really, runned some 3dmark vantage and Valley benchmark with both cpus and there is a liddle diffrense in the score, so what you would pic for this system? He plays alot in one day so the components get hot inside the case. Probably the heaviest game right now is bf3 but the 4 one is coming and i know he is going to get it. And if somebody is wondering how the heck he is playing a bf3 with oem system with no dedicated gpu, well he dosen't, i got two pc's and he is playing with that when he is at my place. Btw havent test unlocking the last core on the old phenom but then i need a aftermarket cooler. Pictures about the build and the intake. If you want to save some cash and still get almoust the same gaming experiense get ivy bridge. The gaming perf of haswell is probably around of 5% better than ivy so around 1-2fps and of course you can always overclock and that means even sandy bridge isnt going to be a bottleneck with some oc done (well if you are running a multitable gpus then there is a chance but i do not recomend sli or crossfireX anyways).

Use the sp120 they are quieter and they will do better job.

Being close to water and with that i do not mean sink etc, I mean sea, river, lake. Of course as finnish person Sauna is close to my heart too.

So system spec amd phenom II x3 and ati 4830, Nexus has single rail 41a and seasonic has a dual rail 17a so what you would you pick? Both are used and the seasonic has half year warenty still and the nexus dosen't have becouse it is 5-6 years old. Need fast answers.
