  1. Samsung 860 EVO is regarded as one of the SSDs with the highest write speed up to 520 MB/s. Your current estimate to have a 1Tb won't last in terms of storage space. In my opinion, EVO variants don't generally show up impressive processing capability. Maybe only for gamers and not for regular use. Have a swift through tekhattan's comparison to get a quick overview of what extent does EVO 860 really work fine. There are a lot more choices than the two mentioned (Corsair MP510 is a decent choice though). I'd suggest going through their performance rating and value rating to see if it corresponds well for the apt price point. Is there a reason why you've put up 970 EVO in your list?
  2. You must've ever locked your SD card from your phone. Try to use it from another mobile and if possible format. Recovering the data involved could be a tough task in such cases.
  3. Targeting 500GB isn't certain to fulfill much of the requirements. And nowhere near to a comfort zone if you plan to have a couple of games installed. Somewhere around 1-2TB would suite best and they're not overpriced. SSD space could quickly lag behind as average games may take upto 70GB. Frankly, what's left won't satisfy even a mild gamer. I'd suggest a quick comparison before you halt the need for extensive storage. Low HDD might be well enough for basic needs. But 4-6TB is an impressive option that carries out video edits to gaming at an extra-decent level. (2TB is a minimal option)
  4. Choosing an apt hard drive seemed like a tough task at first. But WD drives works very well for me as they're all priced within an affordable price range. Also decent for normal use and not for extensive ones. The black series is released being more powerful than the WD green series. I always go through tekhattan to effectively compare between such models before I make my buy.
