the asus oc presets are set up with a high voltage that can really over heat the cpu even on low ferquencies like 4.5 although on 4.0 with the oc presetting of asus my pc ran pretty well.

thank you everyone for you time this was a very educational conversation. i learned over clocking is more intimate than just using presetting you got to really understand what the hell one is doing.
