  1. Thanks for the information, I did not know about this brand, I checked out their website and if I configure it with Ryzen 7, it's a bit over budget, but I can make that work if the laptop is better overall, I'll search for some reviews
  2. My budget is maximum US $1060 ( €900) I live in France and I'm going to study medecine. Those studies are long, and I want my laptop to be good for the longest time possible, so I was thinking about something with new generation hardware, and a CPU with good integrated graphics because we might use some 3D programs for molecules and anatomy, not very intensive tho. For the same goal of keeping the computer for the longest time possible, I'm looking for something with good build quality. Lastly, knowing that I'll bring the laptop to college, I need a day-long battery life and, the size souldn't exceed 16" for portability. As for the resolution of the screen, 1080p is enough, I don't see why I would need a 4k display. Bonus: idk if touch screen is available at this price range, but that would definitely be a nice bonus *touch* Thank you for your time and responses Btw, when I began my searching, I stumbled upon the Huawei matebook d16, which has a 4000 gen Ryzen 5, I tried it out in a store and it has a good build quality.
  3. I did some research and I found the RK68 which is 45€ on Amazon, and it seems to be a good price. Since it's wireless, it doesn't matter if it's tenkeyless. I just thought I would buy AZERTY keycaps to put on it. Do you have a website or a brand to recommend for that?
  4. Thanks for the suggestions, and out of curiosity, how much does it cost to build a custom keyboard?
  5. It is a possibility, but I should then also buy the keycaps
  6. Hello, I now have had a Logitech G413 mechanical keyboard for over 2 years and I wish to change it because those dumb Roomer-G switches which broke because they have weak plastic things that insert into the key-cap, thus some of the keys just broke and just sit on the switch and I can't glue them bach, I lost control (see the pun there?) and AZERQSD because they are the most commonly used for gaming. Anyways, I just want to buy a new mechanical keyboard and here are some criterias that I have, and I hope you could help me find a keyboard that fits those criterias: -Price around 60€ or less which is about 70$ -I live in France, so if an AZERTY layout is available it's a plus -It should be full-size because I share the PC with my parents and they don't want a tenkeyless keyboard -It should have cherry MX switches or some copy of those, so that if a key-cap brakes I could buy a new one that is easy to find, it just has to be sturdier than those flimsy Roomer-G. I am also not very bothered by the type of the switch, the ones that I use are linear but I also tried tactile and it feels nice, I just don't quite like clicky -I want to use it for gaming but also next year I'll go to college and might use it to type homework at home - Whether it's wired or wireless doesn't quite matter, even if I think wired is cheaper. If it is wireless tho, I think it can be tenkeyless and QWERTY, because I can use that configuration and I could just put it aside while I don't use it and let my parents use a full-sized wired one. -RGB is not necessary Thank you for your contribution

  10. I have seen some on Amazon but some of them are in French stores like Boulanger or Fnac I also found a Dell which would be nice https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/pdp/spd/g-series-15-3579-laptop/configurations
  11. Hello, I'm looking for a low range gaming laptop. I live in France so the prices I relate to are in euros. I will cite some of the wishes I have. The laptop has to cost less than $900 (800€) Unless you really think it's better, I would like an Intel CPU Same for the GPU, I would like a Nvidia GPU, unless you have another solution that is really worth it I want an SSD and a HDD (128Go, 1To) At least 8Go RAM Good IO (USB 3.1, Ethernet, Jack...) Of course, you must know better than me but at around $800, they are equipped with a Core I5, and GTX1050 and 8Go of RAM. I'm looking for an option with better hardware even if I have to give up on battery life or transportability. I will do some casual gaming (CS:GO, LoL, Minecraft, Fortnite, etc...) and some work for school involving research and data interpretation (excel sheets) There are things I don't care about : Display resolution and refresh rate (my main gaming setup still has a 1080p 60Hz display so I'm used to it) Keyboard and trackpad (I have my own mouse and don't care about keyboard) Battery life and portability (I won't be moving it around much nor use it intensely outside so I don't care) I've done my research and I found the Lenovo y530, the HP Pavillion or Acer Nitro 5. Give me something better if you can.
