The only leaked X570 is the Biostar X570GT8, which seems to have the same phase count as the C6E. Then again that's Biostar, not where you'll instinctively look at for a good board.

I would wait also.. I will be replacing my Crosshair VII with an X570 board as well (as long as they're not complete trash)..

That being said, if you want one now I would just get the cheapest.. I'm not sure if the C6E supports PBO/XFR2 but if you plan to manually OC like I do, then it doesn't matter anyway.. If the Extreme was on sale when I bought my Crosshair VII I would have gotten it as it's plenty for at least the current line of processors..

The X570GT8 has the same VRM as the X470GT8 i think, which has a 10+2 phase, aka C7H

    ??
Same as X470GT8, which has same as C7H, but with a doubled phase for the vsoc.
    I think i have the X570 GT8 in my X570 list already, w/ vrm
    it has a IR35 (something something) 1, in 5+1, then IR3559s to some other phase = 10+2

I just copied Buildzoid's idea of doubled 4 phase for Vcore and doubled 2 phase for SoC. Without knowing the mosfets or powerstages it's not that helpful of an information anyway

you havent watched Buildzoid's X570 speculation video did ya?

who knows if Biostar copies Gigabyte's powerstage shopping list.

It could be an 8+4 (at least 8+4 worth of parts), especially if Vega 20 will be part of an AM4 APU.

I skimmed it, ignored most of it
It has 12 inductors, thus a 8+2 phase is not possible.

oh, i see. The previous boards were a 8+2, and a 10+2, would be suprised if it has a weaker vcore.

Ya at that point it's no longer a flagship board. Could give mid range boards like the Asus X570 pro and X570 Strix a run for their money though

ASUS is gonna be announcing their X570 boards soon so if you're gonna be getting a next gen Ryzen CPU then I would wait if you can.

yup, both are great boards. The C6E is a C6H w/ more features and E-ATX, C7H is C6H with an extra 2 cpu phases.
All Crosshair boards are good, get the cheaper one.

I wouldn't buy a 2 generations old motherboard for overclocking a new processor, i would get a X570 motherboard instead.

We literally have no information as of now, wait 9 days, then they will show off the x570 motherboards, and you can see if there is a big difference between them.
