AgentTran's Achievements

  1. I love the waterproof capabilities, it's a tough phone. I like dbrand because not only are their skins nice, it's a funny brand name to pronounce.
  2. This is what was recommended to me when I had a $300 budget, and I got it. Trust me, it's worth it. I was using the regular SRH-440's, and they're great on their own. My 840 pads came in today, and man, you can really tell a difference. Wearing them for long periods of time is no problem and the sound quality and comfort is great. I also live in Canada, and I got my SRH440's off of Massdrop, so I got them at an unbelievably cheap price, (because the product was meant to be sold in the US at a decent discount), but since I had them shipped to Canada, the discount was enormous. I use a desktop microphone, and it's great as it is right now. I don't have any experience about modmic's but I've heard they're good.
  3. What are some deals I could see shopping there?
  4. From a gaming and regular user perspective, would it be worth it to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8/8.1 after update? Also, if I were to buy this, would I have to clean my whole computer and do a fresh install of windows, or just download the iso, and install/burn it to disc/usb drive and install it, and have all my files intact?
  5. For that odd "great thing" I can find that is a pretty good deal, would they ship to Canada and if they did would it be worthwhile over Canadian sites such as Newegg CA, MemoryExpress, etc?
  6. I would rather go for the stronger single card solution, and then crossfire the 2 R9 280X's, which should be able to destroy most games.
  7. Over here in Canada, compared to the US prices every piece of goddamn computer hardware is increased about 25%. 8. Well, for the inbetween of those two, you have the R9 290. 9. ESET NOD 32 is the best on the market.
  10. You should have saved and just gotten the 4670K instead of your 4770K, and got a 780. But whatever, what's done is done, right? Personally I think that the GTX 560TI is still a suitable graphics processor in today's standards. If I were you, I would save some and get the GTX 780, which is a major stepup over the 770.

(Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-06-03 01:29 BST+0100) I've gotten you a nice Z97 motherboard, changed the overpriced RAM, added a better HDD (in my opinion) and saved a little, kept your case and writer, and replaced the 650W PSU with a quality 550W XFX PSU, which will be more than enough wattage you will need in your build. All this while actually saving you about 25 pounds, and oh, did I mention I managed to fit in the R9 280X? Happy building
  12. That's a bit out of my budget, but what do you think about the Sennheiser CX300 II's? http://www.amazon.ca/Sennheiser-Precision-Enhanced-Earbuds-Black/dp/B001EZYMF4/?tag=lifehackeramzn-20&ascsubtag=[referrer|www.google.ca[type|link[postId|1480550409[asin|B001EZYMF4[authorId|5716553178370339807 They're about my budget, and is sold in Canada for not too bad.
  13. Hey, I have a budget of about $50, (more or less) and I live in Canada. I need the best pair of earbuds I can get, all around. I'm not expecting too much, just expecting a pretty solid pair of earbuds, that's all. I do however have a list of wants: - Long lasting - Is partially durable - Sounds great - Ships or is sold in Canada - Will output good audio out of my phone. (Note 2) - Are earbuds, not headphones. (I own a pair of 440's with 840 pads and I love them, but they're far to large for public use. Also, I owned a pair of Skullcandy 50/50's (god forgive me) and they were great, and had heavy bass but were very poor quality. They failed on me after 3 months or so, and their customer support and "lifelong warrenty" was useless to me, as paying for shipping back was more than half the value of the earbuds. I've looked into it, and some have recommended the "a-JAY's ONE" I don't know about them to much, but some have said it sounds great and it costs $30, but with shipping is $55. Looking forward to your guy's recommendations! Thanks!
