you could also wait, but if the rmx goes for a good price, you could just buy it

only your wallet hurts with a too high wattage psu

pity, bc bitfenix has a very good 450w line with Whisper M and Formula Gold 450w units.

I don't know why retailers like to keep hweeege PSU-s, when a modern PC with 1660ti or 2060 GPU will don't really need more than 500w in most cases.

me and spotty already looked into it. there's literally nothing good below 750w to find

cx and txm are even more expensive over there

afaik, these are not that good, but certainly not a fire hazard. A midrange-budget option. Not a very good unit, but better than 90% of ppl are using.

From the limited information I could find on it, it's about as good as a Bitfenix Fury (which is Tier C). As @LukeSavenije said, it's somewhat okay.

Only thing I can think of is the store stocked up on high wattage units during the mining craze, and is now just left with lots of 850, 1000, 1200, 1500W units they can't sell. There was a strangely large number of 1000W+ units on those sites.

Probably either the CX750M or the CS750M.

WTF!? Why does a CXM and TXM cost MORE than the RMx?!? That makes no sense... That even looks like the 2018 RMx due to its size, so it's not even like they're clearing stock of the old RMx models.

    *next page*

WHY IS THE RM850x CHEAPER THAN THE RM750x!!?! WHY IS THE TX850M MORE THAN THE RM850X!?!

Man, screw Turkey! Their PC part prices make absolutely no sense.

From what I've seen looking at a couple of the websites (not all, some I couldn't navigate due to the language), it seems like the RMx is the best deal. They seem to have very few 450/550W PSUs, mostly starting at 750W even for stuff like the CX/CXM/TXM.
Brands available are pretty much limited to Corsair, Seasonic, Cooler Master, Silverstone, and Thermaltake. The Thermaltakes I saw were all the junk (TR2, Lite, Smart, etc) and the Cooler Master units were either the junk models or super expensive high end models (V series). Seasonic was also mostly high end (1000W Prime). Same thing with Silverstone which were either the low quality Essentials or the expensive Strider Platinum 1200W+ at like $250USD...
From what I saw there's really no good middle, good quality budget units. Either really low end stuff, or really high end expensive USD$200+ stuff.

Go the RM750x (or even the RM850x since it's cheaper).

    it would be massively overkill

there is nothing available from tier a or a+ over there in 500/550w?

Doesn't really hurt by going with a higher wattage unit. You don't need 750W, but if it's cheaper or the lower wattage models aren't available locally then it's fine.
For reference, system with Ryzen 2600 + GTX 1660Ti is going to use less than 300W even with overclocking. If they're available you could look at some 450W models like the Bitfenix Whisper M or Be Quiet Pure Power 11 which are also 80+ gold rated.

Got any links to Turkish PC part stores? Can see what's available for you.
