I did update my Bios that was on my flash drive and everything worked smoothly.
Man, the back pain when I have to build my PC for 4-5 hours and had to deal with the loading circle froze.

That is if I want to buy another 15" gaming laptop, lol.
If I do, then what will I do with my old 15" gaming laptop.

ASUS RoG laptop look sick though. Better price value compare to Alienware, however, Alienware does have their Graphic Amplifiers that allows for Desktop GPU which it is nice. Sadly, it is another $200 dollar to spend on I believe. Not sure how much it cost, lol.
 
Anyway, I would keep using my 15" laptop if only it has 3 things fixed. 1) Have IPS Panel. 2) It is 1920x1080. 3) Fix the heating issue, lol.

I am with T-Mobile, so I get this JUMP Program where I can jump from whatever phone I have to any phone that I desired.
Right now, I am debating whether I should JUMP my current, LG G4, to maybe LG V10 because of the fingerprint ID. I only have my LG G4 for about 5 months, and I am paying monthly rather full. I don't know if it is worth it.
 
<.< If only T-Mobile has Nexus 6P so I can pay monthly, it will be sick but sadly they don't.
 
What is everyone's opinions/thoughts? Should I or not and keep my LG G4?

Software Engineering is very different from AutoCAD. You can learn AutoCAD in a month or two. I taught myself Revit in two weeks using the manual that came with a trial CD to do a blueprint for my dad in 7th grade. Software Engineering though, requires a lot of practice, coding, and management skills.
 
Software Engineering is far easier to find a job in. Just knowing drafting isn't much since the architecture students graduating from college will also be fighting for the same position (There's a shortage of architecture jobs compared to graduates). As a person who switched from architecture to computer engineering, I can tell you if you like technology, sticking to software engineering will pay off. I greatly regret losing two and a half years in architecture and feeling unhappy with my major.
 
What is fun is subjective...coding is fun to me because I get that sense of accomplishment when my program actually runs correctly. AutoCAD to me is just a drag since it's tedious, you usually aren't designing (if you're a drafter anyway), and it gets to be quite boring at times. However, if you are a Civil or Mechanical engineer, AutoCAD opens up way more to you since you can design.
 
I think you really should sit down and think what it is you like to do. Don't just do something because you have the skills for it. My dad is a general contractor, and I learned a lot about construction and building design from him. I grew up thinking I would be a architect, even after graduating high school. However, I also got addicted to technology during the 8th grade and after high school, due to college application problems, I ended up as a intern as a debugger. The senior programmers there told me I was going to end up in the IT field. At the time, I shrugged it off and said I was going to be a architect regardless. Now I look at myself after having switched to computer engineering and being amazed that they were right.
 
I love to draw, I know a lot about construction (Many years of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general carpentry skills), and I thought that would've meant I was the perfect architect. Sadly I did not realize how keep technology had grown on me.

I won't bother me with Galaxy Note 10.1.
Reason is the damn awkward portrait use and shitty buttons (Menu, Home Button/Press and Hold to access Recent Menu, and Back Button).
 
I have the Galaxy Note 10.1 until I decide to go back my iPad Air despite the fact Note 10.1 is better when it comes to taking notes.
 
But the software (Android 4.2 or 4.4), slow ass system, annoying Finder and S-Voice popping up, etc.
 
Galaxy Tab A Plus probably change it but of course the res, ram, storage and battery life is the major factor.
1024x768, although it is a low res, it is 4:3 aspect ratio like iPad, 1.5GB RAM (seriously?), Snapdragon 410 (seem slow IMO) and 4,200 mAh. I don't know how well Samsung has optimize their TouchWiz to handle battery life.
 
I don't know. You might as well go for Windows Tablet with Stylus like Dell Venue or Surface 3.
I am sure Surface 3 is probably good for you to write notes if there is one available in your country.

There is Dell Venue Pro tablet that also uses stylus, but it is pretty lame ATM that uses Synaptic Touch based.
You won't get this palm rejection and possibly pressure sensitivity but it works okay, however, you are at mercy with Dell releasing "new" stylus to fixes the issue. 
 
I use iPad Air with Adonit Jot Script 2.0 with Goodnotes, and it is pretty good note taking app and okay stylus.
Of course, it won't be amazing compare to S-Pen, Wacom and N-Trig.

Hmm, the first link for ASUS Transformer Pad, is pretty shit. 1GB RAM? Nah man.
The second link for ASUS ZenPad, it looks alright. May consider it.
Third link for ASUS T100 2014 is better than the first link. 
Lastly, the Lenovo Tab 2 A10, hmm, I hear bad thing about its quality and software like it is insanely bloatware and software isn't full optimize. Of course, you can root it and throw in custom ROM if you prefer.

Do you guys have Surface 3 or Surface Pro 3?
If not, then there is Toshiba Encore 2 Write which it is decent but slow because it us using eMMC storage with 2GB RAM. It does have low res, but it does have Wacom Technology.

LG G4 is probably the best Android smartphone for 2015 IMO.

Although it is more than your budget and has less battery compare to other battery bank suggestion, one major key difference is that it can be charge solar.
If you are on the go a lot and need to charge your battery bank, this baby will have no problem.
Of course, it does charge the battery bank slow, but you can mostly leave it hanging on your bag or something.

Can you please read the reply dates in that thread? They are 2 bloody years ago. Times have changed. Not everything would be overpriced and bad forever. Companies learn from their mistakes.

The Alienware 13 seems to be good for the money.

In my situation I can take my laptop places and be assured that it will actually survive without a charger. If I had an alienware then the power brick would certainly be my best friend

I think I would have gone with Alienware cuz not being able to do stuff I wanna do on my laptop would make it a pretty disappointing investment. As far as battery life goes there are ways to prolong life by lowering the brightness and switching off wifi and what not. I mean battery life shouldn't be the deciding factor of ur decision.

as alot of members have recently learned that a macbook is a very nice experience what would suit your needs, just instal windows on your mac.
