  1. It is working but still say 8GB RAM total. I have tried every slots and even different color slots. Still no luck. Not sure if it is the Motherboard bios issue or what.
  2. I could but it is a pain in the butt to take my PC out. I mean I have it on my floor. I have to unplug all of the cables. Slide my PC out in my small room. Remove the side panel screws. I could show you one of mobo picture and say which RAM I put it currently. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B350-PLUS/gallery/ Originally, I had it on the gray slot then change it out and ended up at black slot for both of my RAM.
  3. I use the CPUID and both SPD and Memory said I have the RAM inserted. SPD said I have 16GB yet doesn't use 16GB RAM only 8GB RAM. Memory, it said both of the slot are inserted.
  4. Hello LTT, Another problem arise. For some reason, bios see I only have 8GB total of RAM, but I installed 16GB RAM. PC Specs if needed: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit AMD Ryzen 1700 @ stock clock AMD Wraith Cooler ASUS Prime B350-Plus G.Skill 16GB (8GB x2) 3000 MHz RAM (not at 3000 MHz, I know). GTX 670 WD 1TB m.2 SSD WD 1TB HDD WD 2TB HDD Corshair HX 750 Creative Sound Blaster Z CM Storm Enforcer & Optical Drive By the subject, I have tried using one RAM and tested it on all 4 slots and each RAM too and it works , so I doubt my RAM is DOA. I have put both of my RAMs in every channels (Channel A1 & A2, B1 & B2, A1 & B1, A2 & B2 and A2 & B1), and it works but my bios still register it as 8GB RAM other 16GB RAM. Plus I have reset the CMOS battery to see if it makes any difference and it doesn't. I did installed the latest Bios Driver that it was on the site when I did had trouble back then but got fixed thanks to that. Now, I don't know what is causing it. I would appreciate if someone could help me.
  5. Thank you! You are a life saver. I did update my Bios that was on my flash drive and everything worked smoothly. Man, the back pain when I have to build my PC for 4-5 hours and had to deal with the loading circle froze.
  6. Hmm, no, I didn't. I thought I was supposed to get the OS up and running first. I will be sure to try it out and see if it would work. By the way, should I also install the other MoBo Drivers like Chipset, LAN, Audio, Utlities, etc., after I am done and got the OS up and running?
  7. Hello LTT, I am in need of your help. I started upgrading my PC over my existing one but when I boot it up. The motherboard loading screen splash or circle just froze. My current PC specs: AMD Ryzen 1700 @ stock speed AMD Wraith Cooler (seems like my damn case doesn't work with my Corsair H100i v2 RIP) ASUS Prime B350-Plus G.Skill 16GB (8GB x2) 3000 MHz RAM (I know it isn't running 3000 MHz ATM) WD 1TB m.2 SSD WD 1TB HDD WD 2TB HDD GTX 670 Creative Sound Blaster Z Corsair HX 750W CM Storm Enforcer and an optical drive I download the W10 OS to my PNY 128GB Flash Drive and hoping to boot it from there although it did work for slightly bit until it the loading screen froze just like the motherboard. What I have tried. Wait for 5-7 minutes to see if anything changed. Cycle the boot by holding the power button until the power kill itself then wait for 10-20 seconds and reboot it. Reset the CMOS battery Change my RAM slot Tighten every plugs Unplug all of the USB cables then boot up my computer and replug it. Nothing seemed to work and I don't know what is wrong with it.
  8. Well, somehow I am lead to believe that it might be my motherboard unless I am wrong. It doesn't register my second SSD anymore despite I unplug and replug the cables.
  9. It seems like somehow my second SSD "got unplug" from my system? I didn't even touch it. Well, I guess I am going to have to take my Desktop to a local Computer Repair Shop. I don't feel like troubleshooting each and every parts of my PC considering my Exams is getting closer.
  10. Well then, it is going to be a pain in the butt. Considering my Exams is right around the corner. I hope I could take it to Fry's or Best Buy and let them sort it out.
  11. Then I might need to snag a cheap, slight used yet decent enough GPU. Reason is that I was planning to give my current PC parts (except case and my two HDD) to my dad. I need to figure out the issues. What else might be a culprit?
  12. Hmm, maybe. Do you think my PSU also cause it?
  13. My monitor is new that I bought back in January. It is one of those cheap AOC 24" 1920x1080 @ 144 Hz w/ FreeSync.
  14. Both my CPU and GPU runs between 30*C to 60*C, so I don't think it is overheating.
  15. Hello again LTT, I have been constant issues with my PC, and I thought I fixed but it came back and it is extremely annoying as hell. My first issue is when my monitor screen went black yet PC is still on and PC fan is blowing pretty loud. I thought I fixed it by uninstalling my NVIDIA drivers and reinstalling it plus downclocking my CPU speed to 4.0 GHz rather 4.2 GHz. I didn't have any issues with that until later ... My second issue is when my PC randomly shutdown out of no reason after 2-3 weeks of my first issue incident. It is extremely annoying and I didn't do much to fix it, but it did seem to stop. Lastly my issue is now my first issue incident where my monitor screen decide to turn off yet my PC is on and my PC fan is blowing pretty loud. Right now, I have no idea what is going on. All 3 of those issues happened within a month, and it became at the point where I just say screw waiting for AMD Vega and start building my new PC. Currently, I am slowly grabbing PC parts that are on sales for AMD Ryzen and decide to wait for AMD Vega before start building. Does anyone have an idea how to fix it? Here is my PC specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k @ 4.0 GHz MoBo: ASUS P8Z68-V LX CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Plus RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333 MHz GPU: Galaxy Geforce GTX 670 2GB vRAM PSU: Corsair HX 750W SSD1: ADATA 128GB SSD (OS) SSD2: OCZ 128GB SSD (Program, Software and important games) HDD1: WD 1TB HDD (Junks) HDD2: WD 2TB HDD (Games) Case: CM Storm Enforcer
  16. I thought both of them mean the same thing unless I am wrong. Anyway, it just shut off randomly. After I manually boot it, it doesn't happen until next day when I reboot my PC and same process happened.
  17. I might have a suspicion it started when my NVIDIA "Share" or whatever decide to stop working few days ago, and the random PC shutdown started doing it. I supposed I have to reinstall my driver again. Gosh, I hate it when you are buying stuff, and your current stuff started to break like getting your paycheck and your cars decide to break down.
  18. Sadly, it is too far from my outlet, lol.
  19. I gave my old PSU to my little bro PC.
  20. It is plug into my Power Surge Protector by Belkin BE112230-08.
  21. CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k @ 4.0 GHz MoBo: ASUS P8Z68-V LX Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Plus RAM: DDR3 8GB (4GBx2) 1333 MHz GPU: Galaxy Geforce GTX 670 PSU: Corsair HX 750W SSD1: ADATA 128GB SSD SSD2: OCZ 128GB SSD HDD1: WD 2TB HDD2: WD 1TB Case: CM Storm Enforcer PSU, I think I had it for two years or so (upgrade from my Corsair CX 650W). Edit: Plus it doesn't help my feel when I am starting to upgrade my PC to AMD Ryzen, lol. I was going to give my current PC to my dad, so he can get rid of his AMD Athlon II x4, lol.
  22. Huh? Weird. I had this PC for 6+ years and never had that issue before until now. Could it be software issue too?
