  1. I want to clean the dust out between the fins on the heatsink but can't figure out how to get the black part of.
  2. I have 3 displays currently hooked up to my Graphics card. Today I bought a new UWQHD display and now, after it's been hooked up, whenever I shut off any of the displays windows will change my configuration entirely. Icons will be in the wrong place, monitor positioning will be rearranged, and when I check Nvidia control panel it basically treats the shut off display like it isn't even plugged in, how do I stop this from happening, it never happened before with my old monitor.
  3. I make sure to keep my GPU drivers up to date all the time, and also it is actually the 1 tv and the 1080p monitor that are blacking out, the DP-VGA connected monitor still functions perfectly fine. Also whenever this happens, it not like I'm overworking my GPU, usually it's just playing a video game or doing light video editing, and I very rarely have all 3 screens on at once.
  4. I am Running a 3 Montor (2Monitor, 1 TV) Setup. The Tv is connected with A standard HDMI Cable, The First Monitor (1920x1080) is Connected with a DVI Cable, and the last monitor (1680x1050) is connected with a Vga cable- to Displayport adapter. I'm running a GTX 1080 with the latest version of the Nvidia Studio Drivers. Occasionally for seemingly NO reason my 2 Monitors will black out, The computer will still take inputs and the monitors are still on but for some reason neither of them will display anything at all. I don't know what is happening and would like some help. Thanks in Advance! EDIT: It is actually the TV and The 1920x1080p Monitor that black out, the one connected with the DP-VGA adaptor continues to function during these occasional black outs.
  5. Windows sets the laptop to different power modes when plugged in/on battery, when on battery click the battery icon in your tray amd move the slider to "max performance"
  6. I've been looking into buying a laptop for LIGHT video editing (cutting and merging) and was wondering how much of a difference the 1 extra compute core in the 4700u would make. Both of the laptops are essentially identical besides the CPUs. But the one with the 4700u is like $150 more than the one with the 4500u. Would spending the extra money make that big of a difference in for just light video editing?
  7. I cleaned the switch out last night and when I plugged it in it still seems to be doing it, is there anything else to test if it could be a broken keyswitch?
  8. I've taken the Keycap off and neither the switch or keycap looked overly dirty. This is probably a stupid question, but is there any specific way to clean a keycap aside from good ole compressed air and a rag?
  9. So about a year ago I received a Corsair Strafe Keyboard for my birthday. It's honestly a really good keyboard except for a few minor flaws: Space bar stabilizer broke a month in (Already got a new one of those). And the issue I'm writing about today. The "M" key, I don't know what is up with this key. it is literally the only keys I ever have issues with. the Key will just randomly not send the input to my computer, so I end up having to push it like 4 times to get it to finally input the damn letter, but then other times it does the exact opposite, inputting the letter "m" twice, or sometimes even 3 times with no given explanation. I have tried resetting the keyboards memory but that only fixes the issue for a couple minutes and then it just starts happening again. I don't know why it's doing it. What should I do to fix this issue, is there anything I could do to fix it?
  10. So I recently swapped over to a Phanteks P350X for my case and I have been having quite of bit of trouble getting my HDDs to fit into the cases Hard drive bay comfortably. I can get the Drives in fine but than getting the cables routed is an absolute nightmare and I feel like I'm going to snap the SATA cables just getting them in, is there something I'm missing or is this case not well designed for HDDs?
  11. I Recently upgraded my computer to be a more competent machine for video editing with Davinci Resolve. I've built it to be as good if not better then the "Budget 4k editing workstation" from the LTT video a while back. The only thing I don't have above the machine is an SSD for my scratch disk. I'm seeing significantly worse performance on my 1080p gaming videos then I saw in the video with the 4K footage. So is the Scratch disk that important for video playback performance?
  12. Is there anyway to setup Logitech's G600 mouse to sync with my RGB Fusion?
  13. I have the Hyper 212 LED on it, although when I initally installed it the included backplate snapped leaving only 2 pin (one on top right one on bottom left actually attached) I recently emailed CM about getting a new backplate and haven't heard anything back yet.
  14. I've had quite the opposite problem lately, estimated a week and takes upwards of a month to get here
