Would this affect the lifespan or integrity of the drive?

So as of recent my computer has been making this weird noise (see attached video) and I haven't been able to diagnose what it is. I checked around as it is kind of a grinding sound which I found means a failing fan. But all my case fans are only about a year old. If you guys have any idea as to what this noise is please let me know. Also for the video you do have to crank the volume to hear it as my phone mic is very good. Snapchat-1147557630.mp4

Mostly aaa titles as I have a 2070 super to compliment it

I am planning on upgrading to ryzen third gen soon and was wondering which cpu would be better for gaming. The two options I'm considering are the ryzen 7 3800x and the ryzen 5 3600x.

So already existing in my system are a pair of 8gb gskill ripjaw sticks @ 3200mhz. And i wanted to upgrade my system with more ram and make it a bit flashier. So I was wondering if I could put gskill trident z rgb sticks in, In addition to the sticks already in there? They would be the same speed and I would get an additional pair of 8gb. I'm mainly asking if there would compatibility issues or not.
