    1. A good way to visualize monitor sizes is to take a tape measure and extend it to the length you want a couple of feet in front of your face. 24 inch is average size.
    3. Unless you have a highly trained eye (like professional gamers), you won't be able to the notice the difference between really low response times. Just make sure it's under 10ms (most are).
    4. IPS is the best panel type for color accuracy. Also be careful not to get an anti-glare(matte) monitor. It makes the colors look all washed out.

I picked up Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition for $3 from the Square Enix website. It was $4.50 on Steam. Use https://isthereanydeal.com/ when looking for game deals.

the problem is that you have no idea what that charge affected.   SOMETHING is 100% dead on that board. sure it still gets power, but so does my old laptop that doesnt turn on anymore.
in order to prevent potential damage to other components, it should be replaced immediately. otherwise you risk killing your ram, cpu, or even the gpu

Usually it's under the battery on the laptop.  Otherwise there is a program that can pick up your license for later use.  I don't remember what it's called tho since I have a Dekstop and the license is on the sidepanel.

Well you are correct to some parts about that.
If it's an OEM License, it would be bounded to that hardware, but if it's a normal license, it can still be done.
I tested this before and I know it works since I have one license on 5 desktop PC's at my home made by this method.

OP stated they got an Acer Aspire. That automatically narrows down the license type to an OEM.

Im a liberal. That means Im not voting any republican and Clinton is so untrust worthy its hard to support her as well. He is the only real option and he isn't a great option either. His tax policy doesn't add up and he has danced around most international issues. I don't like any of the candidates running.

Personally haven't had to. But it isn't that hard, there good guide videos on youtube. You remove sticker and lift cap away. Then drop tiny amount of oil there, give blades swing and put cap back on. You can use small machinery oil, maybe not bike oil. But same you would use for chainsaw or sewing machine. Local hardware store should know what you are looking for.

If you want to upgrade you pc why bother with your current graphics card? It still a beast card. If you've got some spending money why not grab another storage drive or maybe even a second gpu.

Apps can communicate using multiple ways.
For example by accessing the same files and write/read data from those files.
Or if you want more direct communication using a network loop: host a server for the current machine only, then let apps on that machine connect to it, then send data over that connection.
The ip address that this happens on is 127.0.0.1

If it's accessing data native to the OS (like a photo gallery) it's probably just an API call that can retrieve the data.
