  1. No, but you can still sideload the Playstore just fine. The OS for smartwatches and stuff is just LiteOS reskinned, it's actually not a new OS so i'm not sure where they're going with that.
  2. Today I installed HarmonyOS on my China model Mate30 Pro. Here are my first impressions: I love the new design, much better than the EMUI of old. The animations can be a bit sluggish though. It runs great. It is more a new skin on Android, not a new OS. Something Huawei seems keen not to mention. It's very complicated to install for some reason, I had to download a random APK and then go through many Chinese language menus to finally install the profile. The new system font is really great. Overall, it's more like an overhaul of EMUI than a new OS, all Android apps (including Play Services) still work.
  3. Sorry, the Motherboard is actually 5.5x5.7 inches but luckily that is still small enough to fit in the Gamecube.
  4. I'm sure that the motherboard fits. It is 5x5 inches and the GC Case is 5.9x6.3.
  5. ITX is too big for the GC case. I am using Mini STX. Both the WiFi card and SSD are M.2 as this board has two M.2 Slots.
  6. I am going to try and build a PC inside a Nintendo Gamecube outer shell. This concept is very early in the planning stages but here are the basic specs. Motherboard - ASRock DeskMini A300 (Motherboard Removed From DeskMini Case) CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3400G Case - Indigo (Purple) Nintendo Gamecube Power Supply - 120W DeskMini Included External RAM - HyperX Impact DDR4 16 GB 2933 MHz (SODIMM) WiFi Card - Intel 8265 AC M.2 WiFi Antennae - MOLEX 47950-2011 SSD - Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB (M.2) As you can see from the specs I am going to buy an ASRock DeskMini A300 and just use the Motherboard and Power Supply.
  7. Yes, hyperthreading/SMT uses more power.
  8. I do like the PSU tier list, it has helped me out a lot, but I did this post purely out of curiosity, I don't actually need a new PSU.
  9. Just curious which are the preferred brands by the community in 2019! Give your reasons down below. My personal favourite is EVGA because I think across the different price tiers they have the most good units. I do have a Corsair RM750x (2018) in my main PC, but the coil whine is loud compared to another PC I built, which uses an EVGA 650 G2.
  10. I would recommend changing your SSD to a Crucial MX500 for similar performance at a lower price, change the HDD to a Seagate BarraCuda 3TB (the same price as that Samsung), and get a Power Supply of the likes of the EVGA 750 GQ, which is an amazing deal. I wouldn't recommend that 500w unit for this build. That machine is good for 1440p, 1080p wouldn't stretch its legs that much.
  11. "GPU Compatibility" really only comes down to whether or not your motherboard has a PCIe slot to physically insert it into, and whether or not your PSU has enough PCIe power cables to plug into it. I have an RX 470 that used to work, but when i dropped it down the stairs ? the fan would spin, but it stopped outputting a signal. Don't think it's the same issue, and you're probably better at handling fragile objects than me, but hope it helps nonetheless.
  12. If you don't mind going used, the 1070 will deliver better performance then anything else at that price. If you have to buy new though, the 1660 is the way to go. Hope that helps!
