  1. Budget (including currency): 450€ Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GTA 5(FiveM), CSGO, Rust, Racing Games, AAA games, Unity Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello guys I'm looking forward to upgrading my build, especially the CPU, however, I'm not sure which one should I pick. This is my current build. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL15 Memory Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: Asus GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB STRIX GAMING Video Card Case: NZXT H500i ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair CXM 850 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit The main reason i want to upgrade is that i feel that I'm not getting the FSP i should get with this build and this GPU. For example, i play GTA Five M at around 50fps and CSGO at 170FPS. I also want to start learning game development and I think i will need a better CPU to work with Unity. It's the Ryzen 5 5600X a good upgrade? Will I need a cooler? I'm currently using the cooler that comes with the 2600x. Is this PSU overkill? I think it's very noisy, should I change it? TY very much!
  2. @Vael @thinwalrus Why EVGA? Dont the EVGA RTX have noise/ cooling problems?
  3. I picked the strix motherboard because i can have a discount and because i'am going with the asus rtx aswell. Also some people say that Asus bios are really good.

  5. Well for now i only have a 1080p 60hz monitor. So to go for a 2080 it's overkill to play with that monitor. and i plan to upgrade in next 1 year / 1.6 years
  6. Yes i will try to go for one of yours with a 2600x. But i will need to drop the gpu price. Can i swapp it for a rtx 2060? if so, what model do you advice?
  7. Would this build work with a 2700x instead?
  8. But do you think i should get a better motherboard and higher ghz ram anyway?
  9. I plan to upgrade in a 1year, maybe 1 and half, to a rtx 2080 and 2x 16gb . But i need a pc asap since my laptop just died and i need something to work with . Thats why i'am doing this build, it's jsut a "temporary" build. With that in mind, do you think i will need better ram for now and better 2060 gpu?
  10. I'am a developer, and i will need to work with android studio / VSC / Angular Cli, thats why i'am also pushing to a higher performance cpu. You think the motherboard it's going to be a problem?
