  1. Hello, my gigabyte rtx 2060 windforce is kind acting weird, here is the situation: -when i set a stable fan speed from %10-35, the fans dont spin consistently. for example, it is set to %25 stable at the moment but they keep revving up to %25, slow down a little for a second and go back up. -when i stop the fan on the left with my hand manually while they are spinning nothing happens but when i stop the one on the right by hand, the one on the left goes to %100 and goes back down to its normal speed when i release my hand. -windows and nvidia drivers are updated -i tried at different fan speeds with both msi afterburner and gigabyte aorus what could be the problem?

  3. I want to be able to use a colour profile of a certain preset of my Lenovo G27-c10 monitor without the pixel overdrive setting and while being able to change the brightness of the screen but the menu does not allow me to do so. Is there a way to find out what the colour profile of a setting in my monitor? or somehow override the overdrive and brightness settings while using a profile?
  4. I want steam and the games I run on it use my wifi connection and all of the rest from my ethernet. I really don't know what to Google to find what I am looking for.
  5. Hello, As far as I know, windows 10 can automatically distribute the usage of your internet between ethernet and wifi if two of them are connected at the same time. Question is, is it possible to make windows use Wifi only for one specific application and do the rest from the internet source that is connected through ethernet?
  6. Alright, I've done that, will see how it goes I guess. Thank you so much
  7. There is only one and now I set it to %90 percent of the speed, I guess I won't achieve my goal after all. Thanks anyway
  8. Before I changed anything it was set to 0. My goal is to give my desktop pc %90 of the download speed while other devices share the remaining %10. Is that possible?
  9. Well I tried adding the desktop PC's IP as well and it too was limited to 2MBps. I removed the list entirely now, I'll remake the list and then restart my computer.
  10. Hello, I do not know much of routers and networking but I tried to give my desktop pc priority over other devices at home in terms of bandwidth. On the router's page I activated QoS and added the individual IP adresses of the devices I want to control the download bandwidths of. I finished the list, saved it and ticked the "activate" box and then I changed the QoS bandwith to 2mbs. The problem is, even though my desktop pc's ip adress is not on the list it is still affected by the limitation. How can I solve this? PS. I have a Air6372SO.
  11. Hello, First of all here are the specs: MSI B450M Mortar Ryzen 2400G (IGP Disabled) Sapphire Nitro RX 480 16GB(8x2 2400 Mhz) Corsair LPX Intel 660P NVME 512gb(boot disk) 1TB HDD So, I was updating my drivers via IObit Driver Boost and after the updates I went ahead and restarted my computer and it got stuck in the preparing for repair loop. It would soon end lead me to this screen and rinse and repeat. Tried couple things like repairing from a windows disk, sfc /scannow from command prompt but it didnt take. I ended up doing a system restore which windows said it failed but automatically restarted the computer and booted up to my desktop. The major difference is the boot time. Before the motherboard logo would barely flash and then windows would come up and according to the task manager the startup time was always in between 6-8 seconds. Now the motherboard screen stays there for a solid 5-6 seconds and according results of multiple reboots the task manager startup says it is 12 seconds. I am concerned that something is wrong and frustrated by the boot time. Can you guys help?
  12. Wireless is a part i do not want to give up on for the sake of being tidy and neat and also I often connect my pc to a tv up the wall and game on my bed
  13. I'm fine with round keys but my pc does not have bluetooth. Not necessarily dead silent but when I'm typing real fast at night or jamming keys while gaming I want it to be only audible at max
  14. Preferably the maximum price should be around 40 bucks
  15. For daily usage, occasional essays and long game sessions.
  16. Hello, I need a keyboard recommendation bearing the qualities I have stated in the title. I'd like to emphasize the silent part and state that I'm not looking for something that is advertised to be silent just to add some more to the pricetag rather I'm asking for your personal experience and the keyboards you have used. Thanks in advance.
  17. Hello, I do realize asking for help about this kinda sounds probably dumb but here goes nothing. I have been gifted this brand new Alienware aw958 gaming mouse, It's all good and fun but the left and the right click buttons make an unusual sound when my fingers are resting on them. It is as if there are rusty strings beneath the buttons and make the most annoying and distracting sound after coil whine. I know this is a very first world problem kind of thing, so apologies in advance. I have looked for a way to peak under the left and the right click but they don't detach, no visible screws to disassemble and no guide online to help disassemble. So what I'm asking is a piece of advice: how can I get rid of this sound without getting rid of the mouse?
  18. As the title states, the speakers buzz when the 3.5mm connector is plugged into the pc(mobo or the case) and they buzz when they are not plugged into anything but when I connect them to my phone the buzz goes away. I have heard something about a ground loop but I do not know if this is the problem and if it is how do I fix it? Thanks
  19. I have never dealt with ASUS customer support or RMA so if something ever happens to the card I do not know to what extend ASUS would be of help. As stated before, if you can take the card for a test run for a day. I assume that won't be a problem since the owner of the card is your friend. A GPU is a GPU, if it isn't wrecked it can run games without any problems is what I would say drawing conclusions from my exp ^^
  20. I suggest you try stresstests like Furmark and also some Triple A title games. Try to see both synthetic and real-life performance of the card. What brand is the card ?
  21. Hello I have used 2 RX 580s that were used for mining and here are the tips I could give you from my experience: Does it have a warranty? How clean is it, is it dusty and is the backplate somewhat oily or greasy? Did you see it work? If you can stresstest the GPU, please do so and see how stable is the test and the temperatures. -If the temperatures are not stable it might either be because the thermal paste is dried up or the fans are not healthy anymore. Try light and heavy gaming before you buy it and supervise the temperatures; at what degree do the fans start to spin? And lastly, does the gpu have a custom bios installed? Answer these questions and see how well the card does, if the answers are OK the card is quite usable from my experience ^^
  22. Hello! I can't decide if whether which one I should get: https://www.thermaltake.com/chassis/mini_case_/core/c_00002373/core_v1/design.htm https://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=c_00002727 I want the F1 Supressor one but I am worried about the airflow. Core V1 has a front mesh panel that I think would help with the airflow; F1 Supressor has a almost covered front yet the same 200mm fan. Would it make a great deal of difference and which one should be taken if you consider the specs below; MSI B450I gaming plus Ryzen5 2700 be quiet! pure rock slim 16GB corsair lpx 2400 GTX 1070 EVGA FTW Corsair TX750M Thanks in advance
