Logitech Z13,Z23,Z33 (depending on availability) is pretty good, I personally have the Z13 and they are pretty decent. Better clarity and bass than my $350 smart TV's speakers, at least.
All three of them have a subwoofer, which I don't need nor want
-
So basically I will be using the speakers for story games on my PC and console. I'm looking for something under $100 USD, I dont need anything big and fancy (no subwoofer) just something small like this https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Multi-Device-Stereo-Speaker/dp/B074KJ6JQW/
It just has to sound decent but not terrible, something comparable to built-in TV speakers (my tv is an old "dumb" 1080p) if that helps? Thanks

Update: I updated the bios on the Asrock motherboard, and then windows loaded up
BUT when I did a restart.... same problem as before, it doesn't go back into windows lol

Well, can you move the drive to a different slot/port? Does it work/show up in another PC?
Yup tried other ports and nothing
I put the ssd back in the old motherboard and I'm currently in windows
In the old motherboard this is how I get into windows (pic below), I click where the red highlighted option is, above Samsung SSD. The question is how do I get that to show up in the new motherboard

I think you still need to answer if the boot drive shows up in the BIOS.
No lol

What happens if you manually boot to the SSD? Does your BIOS recognize your SSD/drive?
Nope, I get the "reboot and select proper boot device" for both ssd and hard drive

Does your boot drive show up in the BIOS? System specs?
It should be on my SSD but it came up as a separate option in my old motherboard
Specs in my bio, besides the Gigabyte motherboard

Hi first of, I'm currently typing this on mobile so I'll try my best to format this post
So anyways, I changed motherboards (new one is Asrock B450M steel legend), it booted into windows fine the first time but then, I did a restart.
And all I got was this:
My previous motherboard, Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3, did the same thing but I was able to choose windows from the boot device list from the bios. It was a blacked out option with no words on it, nothing like that shows up on my new motherboard
SpoilerSo now how do I get back into windows? Is there any sort of command I can do in command prompt with a windows install USB?
I REALLY want to avoid reinstalling windows, I'll leave that as a VERY last option.
Some helpful(?) pictures:

Edit: new pic

In tier A, is the MSI Gaming Plus the same as the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081ZKN8HG
I'm trying to buy a motherboard but there seems to be a shortage, so I'm just trying to find something decent. I was able to buy the one that I linked which was sold by amazon warehouse, just want to make sure it's the one on the list so I know whether or not I should cancel the order lol
EDIT: Just saw the it was an ATX, I can't fit an ATX in my current case. Back to searching I go.. -

Hey there.
Going off the assumption that it's the motherboard's audio that's the issue, not the headphones/speakers.
Ah, not my area of expertise, but here's a suggestion: Realtek Audio Control?
Realtek Audio Control
Do ignore the ASUS logo in the top-left corner.
I recall my GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO WIFI board working with this app/software, and it seems like your Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 relies on Realtek for audio as well?
I'd take a look around in the Realtek Audio Control's settings. If there have been changes from the default (any option other than <None>, or skewed sliders), try reverting back to the default (Reset).
Hi Eschew,
I've looked around the Realtek audio control settings before but nothing seems to off in there (as far as I can tell)

So I've had an issue where sound is unbalanced, and I cant go higher than 2-4 or it'll be too loud (picture below), especially in games (gun sounds are louder than footsteps).
SpoilerI've done all I can think to do, sfc scan, Windows update, amd drivers, and drivers from gigabyte does nothing to fix it.
All ideas are welcomed
Edit: I'm using headphones and I only have headphones

I'm unsure of which to go either TN or VA or should I get a higher end IPS , I don't really care for the refresh rate , I'm fine with 60/75Hz as long as there's no issues like this ghosting or such.
TN if you don't want to spend too much
IPS if you want pretty colors for $$$$$

I found this, maybe it'll help: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?t=3695
Just mess around with the settings, or get a TN panel monitor and you'll be fine.

You do realize computers will advance higher and higher, and so will science.
So whose to say some kind of alien civilization(s) reached that kind of technology and made this universe we are now in? -
I looked for some but they didnt work

Bump
I've tried reinstalling audio drives from Gigabyte's website and nothing has change. I have gone through audio settings enabling and disabling a bunch of stuff.
I need this fixed so I can play games properly. Especially when there's walking sounds but since I have the volume pretty low I cant hear them. -

Hi there,
im awaiting for this monitor to arrive, does it run at, at least 120hz @1280x720?
kind regards
oops, didn't know you replied to me.
The max refresh rate it will run at is at 144hz 1ms with HDMI, so yes it will. At 1280x720, it will still run 144hz.

Try moving the antenna. Even with putting my antenna on the north wall where all the signals come from, I have to leave it in a specific spot for all the channels to come in. If all else fails, there is always an outdoor antenna.
Check out the Antenna man on Youtube. He does reviews of antennas. He actually states that the flat antennas like I use and the Mohu Leaf are garbage but he does have reviews of several indoor and outdoor models. That might be wise. ALSO have your antenna as high up as you can get it. We live in a two story home. Antennas dont work on our first floor, like you can get channels about 2/3s of the time. However on our second floor, there are no issues generally.
Alright, I'll try
My room is on the 2nd floor, just so you get an idea
(I might even post a diagram with signal directions and stuff if more help is needed) -
Update: I got the Mohu Leaf + 60 miles and I still can't get CW (WPIX), but with ABC it looks like I'm able to view it only if I'm able to get the coaxial cable in a certain position, no idea what that is about.

The best thing is to look at where the channels are broadcasting from. For example all my channels come from the North East. So my antenna is located in my bed room on the second floor on the north side of the house.
CBS, FOX, and NBC all come from North West (28 mi)
CW (WPIX) and ABC (WABC) come from a North West and North East (31 mi)Also, I have a better view of CW and ABC broadcast towers surprisingly lol (direction wise)
22 hours ago, stanfiveohtwo said:Your antenna is an "amplified" unit which is something of a consumer scam. When the amplification mode is on it tends to introduce noise, or the impression of a lost signal with DTV. In other words, you don't have to fool around with the antenna you have. Return it.
I was able to get the antenna I currently have for free and it works so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The antenna I have is for the living room that my parents mostly use, I want to get one for my room now.23 hours ago, stanfiveohtwo said:Assuming you are within 20 miles of the broadcast towers, you may choose among the following for good results.
Mohu Leaf or Arc. The Leaf is the one all the other flat antennas are copying. Arc is not designed to fit in a window.
Antennas Direct ClearStream Eclipse
Channel Master Flatenna 35. CM being the old, tried and true brand in this category.
If you are further out or just want the maximum indoor unit, devise some kind of stand or support and stick an Antennas Direct ClearStream 2V in the window and be done with it.
I live about 31 miles from ABC and CW broadcast towers according to antennaweb.org, and TV fool tells me the towers are 28 miles away from me.
I live in an apartment so I don't know if I'm allowed to install an outside antenna.
