  1. 22mm outer diameter conduit is about 16-17mm innder diameter, I'm pretty sure hdmi plug won't fit inside it :x
  2. I'm looking for a way to pass a HDMI signal from my PC to a TV thats located in a separate room, as well as mouse/keyboard signal back to the PC over a single cable as shown on the attached drawing. I'm hoping to find a way to pass signals back and forth over a single cable, ideally Ethernet, but optical would be fine as well. I know I can achieve this functionality using a KVM, here are several constraints however: There are 2 walls between the PC and TV, and max outer diameter of the conduit I can put through those walls is about 22mm, 25 if I'm lucky. Budget constraints: max abount I can spend on the device is about $100 US. I'm willing to consider buying used. I'm looking for some tips and suggestions on what KVM or other device to use, hoping that theres somebody on this forum that had faced similar problem before.
  3. UPDATE: When I created a new local account and checked on that one, everything works fine. So theres a problem wiht ym account, but I don't know whats going on.
  4. Hi, Since yesterday I'm having a problem with explorer.exe not starting when I'm logging into my Windows 10 account. I have to start it manually with task manager. I've checked theHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon in Registry Editor, and the Shell data is explorer.exe. Also tried to do the commands as shown in the screenshot (somebody on the Microsoft rosums reccomended that), but still isnt working. I had to to these in PowerShell, because for some reason I can not open Command Prompt (It just doesnt open when i try to). When I try to open System Restore so i could try restoreing it to a version from a week ago or smthng it drops me an error that Windows cant get access to a file because i might not have the authorization (C:\Windows\system32\SystemProperitiesProtextion.exe). Ive scanned the system with kaspersky, says theres no errors or viruses detected. Any idea what is goign on?
  5. Hey everyone, So I was wondering if runiing two diffrent monitors, lets say main one being 1080p144 and secondary being 1080p60 is doable without any problems with drops on the main display? For example playing games on main and browsing facebook on the secondary? Also should I use GPU outputs for both of them, or maybe go GPU for main one and mobo/iGPU for the secondary one if possible (aka non Ryzen users)?
  6. Allright, thanks for suggestion. So I've found the Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 RGB TT Premium fans. Comes in 3pack with (i think) a controller. ANy thoughts on those ones, and also how do I set it up? I have exactly 0 experience on doing that whatsoever. ?
  7. Hey everyone, i need some help with the build I'm planning. I'll be using it for gaming mostly, the budget is around 4.5-5k PLN ($1500-1700 CAD).. My plan is to use these parts: MOBO - MSI B45 GAMING PLUS MAX CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 RAM - 16GB (2x8) Patriot Viper 4 3200MHz, CL16 GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC SSD - ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 515 GB PSU - SilentiumPC Vero L2 600W, 80+ Bronze Case - SilentiumPC Signum SG1 TG CPU Cooler - SilentiumPC Fortis 3 140mm and I alse need to get the monutor, for which I'm going for the AOC C24G2U. So my question here is if that's a good way to go, especially while thinkign about changing the GPU some time in the future for something like 2070S or so, and I'm also looking for some good fans (3x120mm) that have RBG so i can mount them as shown on my very professionally made graphic, and do I need any kind of controller or anything like that to use these RGB fans?
  8. Asus Zenbook 14 or Vivobook S14. I'm using the 2nd one, S410UN to be exact. i5-8250u in me version (but I believe there are ones with an i7), 256GB SSD M.2 (upgradeable, theres also a free 2.5" bay in there so You can easily add 2nd drive, 8GB ram but only 4 is soldered to the mobo, other 4 is an SO-DIMM so You can easily upgrade that to be 12Gb or so total. 14" Full-HD matt display, pretty decent battery live, weigts about 1.4kg so about 3.1 lbs. Overall It can easily do in the office, and some light gaming as well. Works great for me so far, I dont think i'd change it for something other.
  9. Hey! I'm thinking about replacing the thermal paste on ym laptop (ASUS VivoBook S14 S410UN, 8GB RAM, i5-8250U and an MX150 2GB), but I don't really know what TP should I use. I was thinking about going for Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut but I'm not entirely sure if thats a good choice. I was also thinking about going liquid metal, but Im not sure if that'd be safe since im moving my laptop a lot (backpack etc) so I'm afraid it might shorten someting and end up frying it. Tahanks for any ideas/help!
