  1. I was finally able to purchase a computer and it's currently being shipped and while i'm waiting i've been downloading the bios updates (although it says not to update so waste of time i guess), while doing this i discovered my ram is not compatible so i took to google to see what i could find out and i've been old mixed reviews of people saying it doesn't work and they get a boot loop to people saying it worked fine and people saying it used to not work but now it does because they updated the a2 and b2 slots for higher speed. The most recent I can find anything is February where people say it was updated but then I still see people saying it doesn't. My next question would be: If it does work/ is currently supported, what would i need to update my bios to? I've seen things about people updating to 3.1 or something and then a few things didn't work with their GPU and you can't flash back and there's a risk of bricking your mobo apparently? Anyways. If someone could tell me the current standings on Corsair Vengeance LPX and B450 Pro4 compatibility and if i need to/should update my bios, I would greatly appreciate it.
  2. Would it be better than the ryzen 5 2600's streaming ability or worse? Should I change the 2600 to a ryzen 7 1700? Then the question is, do I run into bottleneck issues with the 1700 since it's older?
  3. 2060 is for the streaming cores and the luxury of being able to try Ray Tracing in future games. And like I said, I intend on buying fans at a later date and just leave the side panel off (I keep my room very cold so I don't think it will be an issue).
  4. This is what I came up with. Do you think this would be capable? I do intend on OC the 2060 and leaving the case open until I can buy fans and eventually an SSD. 5. Need help making an $800 - $870 gaming computer that is capable of gaming at 1440p and streaming. Ideally all of it would be on Amazon and a 20 series card. 1. Budget & LocatioLocatio USA $800 - $870 2. Aim 1440p gaming and streaming. Games: R6S, LoL, WoW, Escape from Tarkov, Risk of Rain 2, most popular AAA games. 3. Monitors Currently only plan on running 1 1440p monitor, eventually 2. 4. Peripherals No current need for mouse and keyboard or windows. 5. Why are you upgrading? Want a real gaming computer, not a casual laptop.
  6. Would it be possible to get this as a normal ATX size or am I forced to go matx for this much performance at this price point?
  7. Not at all, just looking for the best performance and price.
  8. I am building my first computer after years of contemplating and I have a general idea on what I want to build but i'm still new to the pc scene and could use some help getting the best performance out of my price point. 1. Budget & Location My budget is ~$700, I could go a little over but no more than $50-$70. I live in the US. 2. Aim I want to game at 1080p, medium to max settings at 60fps. The games I intend on playing (currently): League of Legends, CS:GO, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Division 2, and Apex Legends. I also want 16GB of ram. 3. Monitors I don't have a monitor and i'm not looking to buy one, I have a 1080p something inch Samsung TV, but ideally I would like to have 2 1080p 144hz monitors in the future. 4. Peripherals None needed, got my Reddragon mechanical keyboard and a Zelotes gaming mouse. 5. Why are you upgrading? I have been using a 4+ year old laptop with Radeon R5 Graphics and 6 GB of ram to try and game on, and even at the lowest settings and everything it would be a miracle to get 30+ fps consistently on any game. Additional question: When I put together a build on PC Part Picker it gives me the lowest possible price for everything, but on different sites. The question being, should I buy the parts from all these different sites or just pick one like Amazon or Newegg? Here's the build I currently have in mind.
