Google Street View car just started mapping my city Montevideo, Uruguay (I thought they would never come here)

This morning one of them missed a STOP (PARE) sign and hit another car. Fortunate there were nobody hurt

EA Sports announced today that women will finally be allowed into its annual popular Fifa Soccer simulations, starting with this year's FIFA 16.

 

 

"For us, it was more about getting the most of the best players," said Nick Channon, producer for FIFA 16. "The international women's game is big. Obviously that's where the best players are. We wanted to start there."

A Samsung Group subsidiary has worked on a robot sentry that they call the SGR-A1, and this particular robot will carry a fair amount of weapons that ought to make you think twice about crossing the borders of South Korea illegally – as it has been tested out at the demilitarized zone along the border over with its neighbor, North Korea. The SGR-A1 will be able to detect intruders with the help of machine vision (read: cameras), alongside a combination of heat and motion sensors.

The whole idea of the Samsung SGR-A1 is to let this military robot sentry do the work of its human counterparts over at the demilitarized zone at the South and North Korea border, so that there will be a minimal loss of life on the South Korean side just in case things turn sour between the two neighbors.

First announced in 2006 (where obvious improvements have been made since, and I am not surprised if much of it remained as classified information), this $200,000, all weather, 5.56 mm robotic machine gun also sports an optional grenade launcher. It will make use of its IR and visible light cameras to track multiple targets and remains under the control of a human operator from a remote location. Basically, it claims to be able to “identify and shoot a target automatically from over two miles (3.2 km) away.” Scary! When used on the DMZ, this robot will not distinguish between friend or foe – anyone who crosses the line is deemed as an enemy.

Logitech has announced a gaming keyboard it believes provides the perfect response and customisation for even the pickiest of PC gamers.

The Logitech G910 Orion Spark RGB Mechanical Keyboard utilises proprietary Romer-G mechanical switches, which the company claims offer 25 per cent faster actuation than any other. They are also more durable and have intelligent illumination.

In addition, the keyboard features Arx Control app support, which means that iPhone and Android users can see information presented on their devices, giving them an idea of performance stats, in-game intelligence and media controls. The keyboard even has a pullout tray on the rear to house the phone while in use.

The Arx Control SDK is available for developers too, so more applets could be designed around Logitech's system in future, even by third-party developers. Valve is currently looking at possible integration for Steam and its games, for example.

Illumination comes in the form of RGB lighting for every key. Each of them can be lit differently using a palette of 16.8 million colours.

There are also nine programmable G-keys and up to three different profiles can be stored, for three different main games.

The Logitech G910 Orion Spark will be available from November in the UK, US and Europe, priced at u$s 260.

I don't know if you knew of this page, but it was a web where you could stream any new release movie, and it feed of torrents to do that, totally free and without ads, obviously wasn't the most legal way to do it

I know linus and luke where talking about something similar a couple of weeks ago in a wan show, about bittorrent and streaming

Personally, I never used it cuz I don't like streaming, I like to have the full file before watching anything
