UPDATE 8/31/19: A day or two after I posted this, my brand new motherboard went up in flames. One of the VRMs fried and that was the issue. It also took out one of my memory modules with it. After getting an RMA replacement for the motherboard and memory, everything works as it should including the other sets of memory that I couldn't get to work.
After a failed BIOS update bricked my Crosshair VI, I was able to get it recovered but the system became very unstable. So I bought the new AsRock X570 Taichi and slotted in my Ryzen 5 2600X. Everything runs fine with the exception of my memory. I have tried multiple sets of memory and have not been able to get any of them to run at their rated speed. I used a set of Patriot Viper 8GB kit at 2666MHz and a newer set of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro at 3000MHz. Both ran perfectly on my other Ryzen systems but for whatever reason I cannot get either of them to work on the new board. What happens is I'll enable the XMP profile and set the speed. All timings and voltages look good, then it'll power cycle the 3 set times before failing to apply the settings and defaulting back to 2133MHz. Can anyone help me with this? I've tried everything I can think of including making sure the BIOS is up to date.
