Hi! So I'm trying to build a pc. I have an GTX 1070, but it is on a old optiplex 7010 and it doesn't work too good. An online store in my country runs an sale for an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz and I'm curious if this system works and if it is good for the money. It is $430. I'm clearly not a guy who knows how to put up an pc and clearly I need help.

My bad, I edited. It is an MSI GTX 1070 Armor OC

So I have an PC with a huge bottleneck problem. I5 3470 20 GB DDR3 Ram GTX 1070 Dell Optiplex 7010 base MB I would like to make an upgrade so I would have an powerful enough cpu for my gpu, but I don't have a lot of money. I would like to know what parts would be the cheapest and powerful enough so I would not need to spend a lot of money. Also, can you explain me how the cpu-mb compatibility works? Maybe I could wait till Black friday and get some parts with DDR4 Ram.

So I have an Optiplex 7010 with an i5 3470 CPU. Two days ago I upgraded my gpu from an GTX 1060 to an 1070 (I know about the bottleneck). When I changed the GPU I had to make some changes to the case because the gpu is too big for it and now I can't use the case's cover anymore ( I will buy a new case next month). The problem is that now when I play games the CPU and the motherboard fan are getting much noisy than before and they stay noisy one, two minutes after I close the game, I see a big drop in the fps after the fans get noisy and in some cases the PC freezes. When I boot up I get an message that says that there have been an temp fail at the last boot. I changed the thermal compound but it did nothing. Some things that I have done and maybe have a connection with this problem. - I cloned the boot ssd so I can use a better one, but then I did a clean reinstall anyway. - At a moment I disconnected the temperature sensor of the case and I cleaned it. - I have taken the MB out but when I inserted it back I was holding the CPU Fan to guide it in place.

My laptop is completely fine, I tested it with an hdd and it is working perfectly. The ssd is not working and it was not touched by the liquid

Hey guys, As I said in the title, I spilled some coffee on my laptop, it lost power and now the ssd is not working. The fact is that the ssd was not touched at all by the coffee. I put it in my pc and it is showed in disk manager but I can,t initialize it. Other software didn t work too, everywhere it is getting stuck. I tried the power cycle method, I connected just the power, but it did not work.

So I have 4 ddr3 ram sticks, 3 at 1600 mhz, 16 gb and a fourth of 4 gb at 1330. I use my pc for gaming and a lot of work in adobe apps like Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Do you think I'm better with the 4th stick or without?

My laptop runs really slow and the disk is at 100% almost all the time
Denyl replied to Denyl's topic in Storage Devices
Alright, I see. The problem is that if I want to change it would need to wait 20 days for a service to change it and I need the laptop almost every day. Is there a way to make it work a little better without changing the hdd? -
Hello, I use an new MSI GF63 buyed three months ago. After I installed the OS (Windows 10) I had problems with it freezing, taking three whole minutes to boot and almost all the time I have the disk at 100% in task manager. I did some tests and here I have the results and an screenshop from Task Manager.. I don't really know what to do at the moment because I tried all I found on internet/ My system uses an Seagate BarraCuda st1000lm048-2e7172 HDD. Do you have an idea how I could make my system work faster?

Is this GPU any good compared to a GTX 1060 from a more popular brand?
Denyl replied to Denyl's topic in Graphics Cards
I can buy it for $140. In my country I can find some of those pretty cheap. When it comes to 580 I found it at a higher price and this is why I choose this one. -
Hello! I'm changing my gpu with a inno3d gtx 1060 and I wanted to know what PSU can work with my setup. Oh, sorry. I did not think about that. My system is modest: Model: Dell Optiplex 7010 CPU I5 3470 12 GB RAM MB is the base one for the model PSU is the same 2 SSD and one HDD At the moment I use an 1050 as GPU, but I want a little upgrade 'cause I use it for apps like Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro InStudio and After Effects + Gaming of course. Is not the best system, but I don't have the money to buy something else at the moment and I need a better GPU for these apps. BTW, $140 is the price for this GPU. Do you think it is a good idea?
