  1. Other brands are cool, but my price limit is $150 US and I'd like it to be bigger than the case i have now. Especially since my video card is almost right up against the hard drive cage and the cable management space is tiny. Its like 8 inches wide total.
  2. I'm looking to replace my current case, an Antec One Illusion. Its a discontinued $50 budget mid-tower gaming case. Its nice, but it was my biggest compromise when building my original system. Now that I've upgraded, its not cooling well enough for comfort, especially with high-cost components. Its especially bad since it also doesn't support any kinds of radiators, which I'd like to switch to eventually. These are the internals: ASUS P8Z77-M Motherboard Intel i7-3770k (OC'ed to 4.5 GHz) 16 GB G.Skill 1600MHz RAM (Looking to OC as well) 1.5 TB Western Digital 6.0 GB/s 5900 RPM HDD 180 GB Intel 520 Series SSD Generic DVD burner (LG I think...) ASUS Radeon HD 7850 (OC to 1040 MHz) 450w Antec VP450 (800w Toppower PSU in transit) Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler My room is ~26 C (~80 F) all day. My CPU idles at around 54C and my GPU idles around 44C. At load, with all fans (4 crappy stock 120mm ones), the CPU ramps up to ~77C and at full GPU load it hits 65C. With both a CPU stress test and a GPU stress test running at the same time, CPU hits 83C and GPU has hit 74C. I'd like to push it further, but I'm not comfortable doing so. Plus, It doesn't make much sense to me to put almost $1000 of components in a $50 (US) case... I like the HAF for the big fans, but I've read reviews where people have said that they actually don't push that much air. Plus its almost 7 years old and still no dust filters...shudder I like the Trooper for the wider chassis, customizability and better cable management, but I'm not sure I like the sideways fans (I know I know, they can be adjusted) My question is, does anybody have either of these cases or have had both? I'm having a terrible time choosing, especially since theres only a $5 difference from newegg and free shipping for both. Any help or tips would be awesome. Thanks! btw, here are the links: HAF 932 Storm Trooper
  3. Dang, alright. My board is an 1155 so I'll just have to remember to leave it on when moving cases. Thanks!
  4. Alright. I don't plan on changing CPU coolers anytime soon anyways. I'll be moving the entire already assembled motherboard at once. I was just wondering.

  6. I know this is a longshot, but has anyone put an Asus P8Z77-M Motherboard in this case and had the cpu cutout work? Plus, I have a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo and the back standoffs are pretty tall. Has anyone had problems with this? Or anybody put a Micro ATX motherboard in this?
  7. I'm at about 82 F or 28 C ambient room temp. My room is pretty hot. I run a server and my personal pc in it along with a stereo receiver and dual 23" led monitors airdeano, I"m lookin to avoid any costs atm. Upgrading fans is in my future. Boosted_i6 I'm going to try that
  8. The front, top, side and rear are all antec standard fans that came with the case. They max out at around 800 RPM and are 120mm. They cant push more than 40 CFM, max. The front, top, rear and cpu are plugged into the headers on the mobo. The side and bottom fans are plugged via 3pin to molex connectors. I have no idea what they are running at. I'll try that and see what happens.
  9. I have an Antec One Illusion entry-level gaming case. I have a lot of high-heat components loaded in this thing and i'd like to push it to the limit as far as overclocking. Here's my components list: Case: Antec One Illusion CPU: Intel i7-3770k currently at 4500 mHz RAM: 16 GB GSkill 1600 mHz Dual Channel RAM HDD: 1.5 TB Western Digital Green SSD: 180 GB Intel Cherryvile 520 Series VGA: ASUS Radeon 7850 featuring Cuda II CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo PSU: Antec VP450 Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-M Right now, I have every fan running that can possibly be mounted in this case. One intake in front and bottom, one output on side top and back. Plus the Hyper 212 evo pushes a lot of air as well. I have read a lot about how different fan configurations would work and I'd like to cool it better without getting a better case for overclocking. At load, the CPU peaks around 70C. I know with the 3770k, the TDP is 105C, but I'd like it to idle at lower than 45C, which is what mine is sitting at. Anybody else have experience or tips? Thanks, Claudio Bonus Info! CPU Vcore - 1.230 Idle Temps - 45C Load (CPU Only) Temps - 67C Load (CPU + VGA) Temps - 70C Load (VGA only) Temps - 51C I have all cables routed through rear panel for max airflow in front The Hyper 212 has only 1 fan on it blowing to the rear of the case set up in pull config
