These are both incidents that happened literally more than a generation ago (Not a console generation, a human generation). Got anything from the modern time or do you really want to be the guy who never forgives and never forgets? (PS being that guy is not only not cool, but also incredibly stupid)

I disagree. I of course don't have more than ten friends I need on either platform so it's not much of a problem for me. Much more important though is that I don't want Steam to have monopoly on the market. Competition does a lot to drive advancement. Imagine if there was no AMD, just Intel and NVIDIA. Without motivation to improve they will just milk you for as much money as they possibly can. I can tell you with 100% confidence that your precious Gabe would do exactly the same, either that or he would be replaced as CEO.

Why is Origin terrible? Because it's not Steam?

And as said, running 'rm' on a filename will not actually remove the
data from the disk as long as the file is still opened somewhere.

Hit a snag.  Monsoon Cooling screwed up it'd seem. The tubing is supposed to be 1/2" OD, but clearly these tubes aren't such. This happened on all 8 that I bought. The boxes were correctly labeled, so I don't blame FrozenCPU at all.

This. The limitation to HTML5 is that it requires a more modern browser (in this case IE10+). Not only this, but there's example code out there how to do this. Just search for websockets php chat tutorial, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of resources. A quick search found this. I can't speak for its quality, but probably worth looking into.

    Update: 8 Apr 2014 -

Added some paint to the build. Also I've switched some parts that'll be used in the build, and deciding on a couple others, mainly due to price changes.
I've got the Cryovenom R9 290 in hand now. Factory overclocked settings: GPU: 1150 MHz, Memory: 1475 HMz, we'll see if that's what I actually get.

Paint will need touched up in a couple spots, but I'm pretty happy with it. I used Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Satin Green Apple spray paint.

Try and remove one device at a time. Find the lowest common denominator. Once you have it working add parts back one at a time. Once it goes wrong you've found the problem.

Probably my favorite game I played in a very long time. I really liked how the story was done, and didn't mind how much of it was scripted. The last game I enjoyed as much was Mirror's Edge.
