  1. So far I have the issue in GTA V, Watch Dogs and AC 3 (original). DOOM looks good. Older games such as Borderlands 2, Half Life 2 and GRID also look good. This is supposed to be 8x MSAA in Watch Dogs :
  2. There's no such thing as "locked RAM". Did he mean XMP profiles? I have that enabled already. But I havent touched my BIOS ever since I first got the copmuter.
  3. My computer is brand new. Plus these fixes seem very random. Of course if you make massive changes to your system, you might actually hit this one setting that causes this issue. But i'd rather find the setting. I don't have money to waste on randomly replacing parts. I tried deleting the shader cache tho, that didnt help. And i just checked, I have all C++ installed except 2015. ? EDIT: Uninstalling all C++ didnt help either.
  4. Do you guys have this issue in every game? I jsut installed GRID, a game I know well, and it looks good. Apparently, only the new games, games that I bought this new computer for, are having problems.
  5. That's a good question, that would require an expert to answer. Maybe some of those add-ons (including visual C, .NET etc.) are responsible for changing some setting somewhere. But even when uninstalled, the setting would remain. But as the OP says, even fresh OS reformat doesnt help, so I dont know. Gonna try a reformat tomorrow just in case.
  6. Yes I see it now in your videos. I guess some setting somewhere gets stuck but god knows what and where. Thankfully, I dont seem to have this issue in any videos. This is so depressing. I got one week of enjoyment from my new rig...
  7. For some reason I cant watch the trailer in HD on PCGamer. It plays on auto 360p. I click on 1080p and nothing happens. Since you mention Borderlands, BL2 still looks good for me, somehow. Maybe it doesnt use the shaders or whatever that are susceptible to this issue? Apparently, BL2 is getting a 4K texture pack and a graphics update next week. Imma try it and see if it breaks the rendering. More screenshots. Look at the center region of the closeup photo (make sure its not resized). No AA whatsoever. This entire building looks absolutely disgusting. You can't tell me this is normal for 2019.
  8. Its the OG game, not remaster. AA is set on High. Very High doesn't make it any better.
  9. Yes, those ship masts in the harbor look hideous... Check out this photo as well. Basically I wasted $1000 for a new computer.
  10. Hello fellow sufferers! You will be pleased to learn that this issue occurs on Ryzen systems as well I have a video: This issue suddenly appeared yesterday on my brand new Ryzen 5 2600 + RX580 system. I reported it to AMD. Also, I had this issue 10 years ago on Crysis, Need For Speed: Pro Street, GTA IV etc., so it's nothing new and obviously will never be fixed.
