Thanks!
The M.2's work fine, i booted up without any drives but OS, plugged each in one by one... and now i noticed my HDD is not detected.. So i guess thats where my issue must be
Just swapped around the RAM and tried with seperate sticks no luck. GPU is fine.
Took out both M.2 slots and still i cannot get to the windows installer (Stuck on "Setup is starting" with a purple screen). Currently just gonna take out all drives because i have no other idea...
Hi,
I've upgraded my pc a few days ago, but decided to do some more cable management and re-orientate my AIO. All i did was take the GPU out, apart from that nothing has been disconnected.
When I try to boot to the boot drive i just get an infinite windows loading screen. When I try to boot to a windows installer USB i just get a blank purple screen... nothing pops up..
I tried resetting BIOS and all but its still not doing anything.
Any idea?
Hi,
I'm looking for an RTX 3080, as the Gigabytes are most available around here I was looking at the Gaming OC and Vision OC.
My main concern with these (and some other RTX3080) cards is the stability (as they only use the SP-caps), is this actually something to worry about or is it safe to buy one of these 2 (I'm not fully up to date with all of this)?
I'm a developer, so I'll be running VMs, building code, just multitasking in general, taking it on battery with me. I know 1165G7 is coming out, but I doubt it's gonna be worth waiting for 2 more months (before they're available here)
R5 4600U has 16GB RAM 4266MHz (apparently) & 512GB SSD (60.7Wh battery)
i7-1065G7 has 16GB RAM 3200MHz, MX350, 512GB SSD (60.7Wh battery)
R7 4700U has 16GB RAM 4266MHz, 1TB SSD (60.7Wh battery) --> this one doesn't even have a price as it's expected to be in stock in more than a month
(all are Lenovo yoga slim 7's as I need a portable laptop with big battery and others are unavailable)
The i7-1065g7 (MX350) is €1.199 (discounted to 1.099)
R5 4600U (iGPU) is €849
R5 4700U is currently out of stock everywhere, so it'll be a (rather long) wait
Only other option is i7-10510U
Hi,
I'm in need of a laptop, but don't really feel like getting intel... Only if I really have to.
Sadly Ryzen laptops are pretty hard to find where I'm from, but I've got 2 options:
Ryzen 5 4600u or I7-1065g7.
My question is: Is the Ryzen 5 a lot better than the i7, and is there a big difference between the R7 4700U. Most important thing is: Speed and efficiency?
Hi,
A few days ago I bought an Asus Zenbook 15 (UX534). I'm very pleased with it overall, and they keyboard is very nice.. except the tab key, this key for some reason squeaks when I press it. And since I have to use this key rather often.
Is this a known issue/normal? And is it RMA/return worthy as this is quite an expensive laptop which is perfect except from the tab key?
I just took another look and there's also the Seasonic PX-750/850 which has 80 PLUS Platinum for the same price. How would this compare to the other 2?
