Im thinking about building all white computer (and setup) but it kinda sucks that it would cost extra
  4. So, my thoughts about building a new and first computer has changed alot! My plan is to stick with Intel. I will wait for the new Intel i9-10900K. I am now unsure if I go with 2080Super (it is alot better than my old 660) or if I wait for the new 30XX. I had planned to go 2070Super before. and my display was going to be Asus TUF VG27AQ 27”. Now, if I go with 2080S, is the display too ”easy” for it? I have also dreamed about 34-35” 1440p UW. My question is: if I go with 2080S and UW How much power and ram do I need? Main thing I do with my computer now is gaming. I have been thinking about streaming and photography stuff but those are big big maybe.
  5. I’m unsure if I should wait for the new ones or go with i9-9900K. Some people say ”go AMD” but I’ve heard that Intel is better for gaming? (It is what I do). I was told that I could maybe get better for same price (Intel). (I’m total newbie with this computer building stuff).
  6. I’m looking for a 27” monitor for gaming and can’t decide between these two. (Asus TUF GAMING VG27AQ 27" vs Lenovo LEGION Y27Q-20 27"). Can someone help me to decide? Thanks
  7. So, How to make a decicion Intel vs AMD? The price tag is abit more with Intel, but it does not matter so much. I have read and heard from people that AMD has had some issues and few of my friends have told that they are Intel+Nvidia fanboys.
  8. So, I got another suggestion. Intel one CPU Intel Coffee Lake Core i9-9900K, LGA1151, 3.60 GHz, boxed CPU Cooler Noctua Prosessorijäähdytin NH-D15, LGA115x/2011(775/1366), AM2(+)/AM3(+)/AM4/FM1/FM2(+) Motherboard Asus ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING, ATX Memory Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) HyperX Fury, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16, 1.35V Storage Kingston 1TB A2000 NVMe PCIe SSD, M.2 2280, 2200/2000 MB/s Video card MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Super GAMING X TRIO-näytönohjain, 8GB GDDR6 Power Supply Corsair 750W RM750x (2018), modulaarinen virtalähde, 80 Plus Gold Case Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C - Black, E-ATX

Changes to build 24.4.20 CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler ARCTIC Freezer 34 -prosessorijäähdytin Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX, ATX (This is a part of a bundle) Memory Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) HyperX Fury, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16, 1.35V (Same as above, bundle) Storage Kingston 1TB A2000 NVMe PCIe SSD, M.2 2280, 2200/2000 MB/s Video card Asus GeForce RTX 2070 Super Dual OC EVO -näytönohjain, 8GB GDDR6 Power Supply Corsair 750W RM750x (2018), modulaarinen virtalähde, 80 Plus Gold Case Fractal Design Meshify C White For the Power Supply, should I stay at 650W or go 750W? I was told that ASUS Video Card would have good fans? Asus GeForce RTX 2070 Super Dual OC EVO, 8GB GDDR6. Is this better than KFA2? Are the fans actually better? 2 vs 3
  10. This old granpa has 1TB HDD and not even close to half used so I think 1TB SSD should be enough. Is there a point to have two SSDs if possible, or should it always be SSD + HDD?
  11. If I go with MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX, ATX , how is the updatig my computer in future looking like? (Or should I go with some other B450 MAX?) How bout Gigabyte X570 GAMING X, ATX? Is there a point choosing X570 over B450?
  12. I just noticed this is in a wrong place this whole building computer topic.
  13. Hi, can you suggest me a better cooler for this one? Hyper was suggested to me by a computer selling company. Then one person in tech forum suggested : ARCTIC Freezer 34 or Alpenföhn Brocken ECO Advanced or SilentiumPC Fortis 3 HE1425 v2.
  14. Hi, I have never built a computer before, but now I have to. These are the pieces for it, what do you think? CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Motherboard MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, ATX (This is a part of a bundle) Memory Corsair 16GB (2 x 8GB) Vengeance LPX, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16, 1.35V (Same as above, bundle) Storage Kingston 1TB A2000 NVMe PCIe SSD, M.2 2280, 2200/2000 MB/s or Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD, M.2 2280, 2400/1950 MB/s (not sure about these) Video card KFA2 GeForce RTX 2070 Super EX Gamer (1-Click OC) -näytönohjain, 8GB GDDR6 (not sure about this one) Case Fractal Design Meshify C White Power Supply Corsair 650W RM650x (2018), Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply, 80 Plus Gold What do you think? Is there some better parts? Let me know

  16. I have decided to drop my requirements after talking to a person who works for Jimm's. I think I will go with one of these -> https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Show/157052/jimms-custom-msi-2/jimm-s-msi-gaming-white-tiger-pelitietokone https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Show/156450/jimms-progamer-spartan/jimm-s-pro-gamer-spartan-2070-super-pelitietokone
  17. I am sorry that this site is in finnish but here is some options from Jimm's. You will probably be able to understand the specs. The ones with 2080S do not include os.
  18. I would like to know what makes them unbalanced? Country is Finland budget is max 2500€ The reason for these two are hire purchase (if it is the correct term). the interest rate is 0% from Telia https://www.telia.fi/english (The site for them is not translated in english). For other shops it is 20% annual percentage rate of charge. (https://www.verkkokauppa.com/ & https://www.jimms.fi/)

I have hard time to decide what I want to play in MMOs. (World of Warcraft active at the moment). I would love to be pure healer, but no, you need to "top the dps meters" too. I feel like after healing 17 years in MMOs learning rotations, simming gear and whatever else.. I feel like I'm lost, dont know what the to do
  21. I would also like to know if there is point of going over 144Hz? Those two displays that I linked are 165 Hz. I have not been able to enjoy FPSes with my old computer, but I do not think I'll go crazy and start a journey to competitive FPS player. So there is no need for a display higher than 165Hz I think? My graphics card is going to be Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB. And I'm abit unsure if 2560 x 1440 27'' is "too little" for it? Thou I do want to play games with high settings. I have heard that IPS panel is good if you dont play in a dark apartment/room because of the light flood (is this the correct termn?). And if so, you should go VA? Well I do mostly play either sun shining from window or lights on. I have also been drooling over a ultrawide display. Not those super huge and wide, 34-35'' would be okay. But does it crash my dreams of playing games on high(est) settings? What IPS or other 27'' or higher or UW 34-35'' or other panel options would you people suggest for me?
  22. When I was little we had dogs around. Great Danes and English bulldogs. Loved them and one of the Danes was my dog, my love After moving away from home my mom and father both got new doggos in house. I really loved the personality of moms boxer girl When I was living with my ex we had my dads dog with us for few days to see hows the life with a dog in house. Now with my new BF I've talked about dogs and few breeds to him and if I find some funny pictures or videos of dogs I send them to him. I go so all the way silly if I see few breeds on a walk outside But I do still feel after having pets in previous relationship that at this moment, it is not a time for a dog or any other pet
