Greetings,
I've got a Cooler Master K380, and thinking of purchasing 2 x 120mm case fans:
SP fan on the back for exhaust
AF fan on the side for intake
There's already a 120mm intake fan mounted in the front (pre-installed as part of the case).
There's also mounting for a 4th 120mm case fan on the underside (another AF intake perhaps?).
There is a filtered exhaust grill on the top of the case, however, there's no fan mounting for it. I guess this could be an issue with a negative pressure situation.
So, the questions I have are:
Is the SP (exhaust) and AF (intake) suggested above, the better combination? (if not, can you elaborate as to why please)
I have considered an "all-rounder" (NF-A12x25). But, I prefer specific solutions for a given scenario, not generic ones. Anyone have other thoughts/critiques?
Should I consider buying a 3rd intake fan (AF?) for the underside mounting to negate any potential negative pressure?
Note:
Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H.
Planning to install an NH-D15S to replace the somewhat functional i7-4770K stock cooler (I don't overclock, but, the thing stills run a bit too hot under load for my liking).
The GPU is the smaller profile single fan EVGA GTX 1060 (6GB).
Many thanks in advance.
