  1. Hello! I've installed the rockstar games launcher through Lutris and installed GTA V with it. Thing is, when i open the game i get cloud saving errors and apparently, there are third party files loaded in the game which can get me banned. And another thing, my main monitor is an ultrawide, and for some reason the game doesn't let me go over 1680x1050 (my monitor's resolution is 2560x1080). I've head that it works perfectly through proton if you have the game bought from Steam, but I haven't, I bought a license key and acativated it in the game's launcher. If you know how to fix these problems, maybe through some other ways of installing the launcher and game, it would be greatly appreciated!
  2. For context the system consists of: The first mobo: Asus B75m something (i have a nmATX case) The second mobo: Asus H67m something (i have an mATX case) CPU's: I3-3220; Pentium G2030 RAM kits: some standard Kingston 8gb kit and a Crucial Balistix Sport 4GB kit (both 1600MHZ DDR3) So, someone's mobo has a problem. This is the process of thought that it goes through after pressing the power button: 1. The CPU fan barely spins 360 degrees 2. The RAM LED turns red 3. The CPU fan RAMPS up to 100% And it just bootloops like this until you unplug it... I've tried multiple CPU's, multiple kits of RAM, and the person even bought a new mobo and multiple PSU's. The person has parkinson's, so i'm not sure if he dropped a screwdriver or jammed something in the socket. I'd like to know your opinions on this
  3. So I found a $5 Sandisk X110 128GB and apparently the guy says that it pops up in the BIOS and Disk Managment but he can't use it. Either he's just really stupid not knowing how to initialise it in disk managment or the firmware is corrupted. The translation of the description: The SSD is recognized by the PC at the level of BIOS and Disk Management, when checking with EaseUs and Sentinel software does not fail, but can not be partitioned in any way, the error is always related to I / O error. Maybe you could fix it by reapplying the firmware, but you can't find the right option. i Just want to use it in an old laptop that I use for Netflix
  4. Most likely his father got it from someone that stole it He bought it for 70 pounds
  5. So, basically i got a phone from a friend that his father sent from the UK and he told me to unlock it I've been trying everything from sketchy chinese software to IMEI decoders. Should I just go to an apple store and have them deactivate it?
  6. I mean i got the update assistant and I'm trying to see if i can update using it. Anticipated Thank you
  7. But can i update it from like a flash drive or something? I don't have enough time to reinstall windows
  8. Hey, so i grabbed myself a laptop with an mx150 gpu and i want to play like esports titles but i installed a version of windows from 2015 and i can't update the GPU drivers, and i can't update windows cause it keeps pushing errors upon errors. What can I do?
  9. So, I played hitman the other day and it worked perfectly and now it does this. Does anyone know how to fix it? It only does this in gameplay In the mission chooser it doesn't
  10. Did your computer slow down since you biult it? Most likely it's a virus causing this You'll need a linux drive and boot into it and run a virus scan That might work
  11. Ok,thanks i will try the WHQL drivers
  12. So, i upgraded from a gtx 750 to an rx 460. When i got it i put it in my computer, made sure the DVI connector was all the way in both the card and the monitor, and booted up. When i got in Windows the first thing i did was put the driver. That was the moment i first saw a GPU getting completely bricked, monitor went black (btw made sure i put the appropriate driver for the card). Reset it then i installed a fresh version of Windows 10 64-bit (version 1809) and it worked well. then i installed an older driver and the same thing happened: black screen, unresponsive, etc. One reset later, to my surprise the computer didn't boot to the windows boot manager, it went to the BIOS?!!! Do you people have any idea how to fix this?
  13. I mean, i had a load of ram kits in my life on this rig It is VERY important that you get the timings right, if you don't it will bluecreen like crazy on you, the voltages are kinda the same across the board i wouldn't worry that much about them but i'd just recommend buying a 16gb kit of RAM of the bat. It isn't worth it to mix and match RAM sticks it's just too much of a headache
