  1. I just made some test about my system by using LatencyMon while playing Rainbow Six Siege for 30 mins. According to LatencyMon I got 1687 reported total hard pagefault. Here is the SS about the issue. Is this a problem that I need to fix? 2. That's actually why I am asking this. I wanna see some games before buy them but I don't want to take risk at the same time.
  3. Hello. First of all I do not support to download or play pirated games. However I have got a question about pirated games. As you know, some pirated games may contain malware, virus, crypto mining etc. Is it possible to play these kind of suspicious games inside any virtual folder using any Sandbox software that isolate games from whole system files without infecting PC? Or are there any ways to do it?
  4. Yes it is my only drive for now. And as you mentioned virtual memory paging file is located on the drive. I have 16 GB ram which makes me think that does my system still uses too much virtual memory although I have 16GB ram. I am using chrome and my brother watches live streams on Twitch. Then it is also counted as writing, isn't it? If so is there a way to change the location of these kind of writings for browser if I add a HDD?
  5. Hello. I bought Samsung 970 EVO on 1st January. I realized that the Total Bytes Written is too much. I just installed Windows 10 Education and some games and used the SSD. Total Bytes Written value was 3,537 TB on 21st April. And the value is 5,932 TB right now. Namely, it is almost 2.5 TB in 4 months. However I did not install or delete anything that big. Is there a way to monitor that what is cauising this kind of big writing?
  6. Well, I just tested my monitor with HDMI 2.0 cable. If I set the Hz to 144, when I scroll down in dark colored pages, I can see horizontal lines. If I set Hz to 120, the horizontal lines are always visible fixedly. If I set Hz to 100, there is no horizontal lines. This case is same with Displayport cable. I think it's visible scanline issue. Is that a defect? The lines are more faint and look like this.
  7. I also notice something about this new monitor. When I am in FPS game and move mouse fast vertically-horizontally or drag open tabs ie. discord circularly, I feel like I can see pixels line by line on dark colored areas. It's really hard to explain. I can clearly see it with discord tab as it's dark gray. That's what makes me think it may be something about this monitor.
  8. I was going to try with another monitor however the gray line does not exist now.
  9. Hello. Today when I was surfing the internet, the gray line appeared on the top left of my monitor. I just turned off and turned on monitor but it was still there for at least 30 mins. After a while, when I was on some colored web pages, it disappeared automatically. Although I am not sure whether if this is about my monitor or GPU, I think it's probably about monitor. What is your opinions? https://imgur.com/a/8SdAgQH EDIT: Well, I just tested my monitor with HDMI 2.0 cable. 10. Hello. There are somethings that I can't make sure whether they are normal or not about my monitor. 1) Screen Tearing I was using ViewSonic XG2530 240hz until I RMA'd due to panel problems. I did not notice screen tearing too much while using it. However, I noticed screen tearing on my ViewSonic XG240R much more compared to XG2530. I know XG2530 is 240 Hz monitor and that's why screen tearing was less visible. While playing Dota2 with my XG240R 144Hz, If I cap fps to 115 FPS, I see less screen tearing compared to 140, 144 FPS CAP. As FPS cap get closer to 144Hz, screen tearing looks worse. I did this test by moving game camera up and down from top and bottom. However If I set fps cap to 180 FPS or something higher than refresh rate, the image much better compared to 140 and 144 FPS cap interms of screen tearing. I remember that when I play CS:GO with XG2530 at 250 FPS or play Apex Legends at 144 FPS, I was not noticing screen tearing as I did with XG240R. 2) Inversion Artifact When I open Google Chrome incognito mode, as you guys know the theme is dark gray. When I get closer to monitor during this screen is open, I feel like pixels are like vibrating or moving. It is not that obvious. In Rainbow Six Siege, when I get closer to dark colored surfaces (point-blank), if I look monitor up-close, I see that the dark colered surfaces is like vibrating. This one was the same with my old monitor which is BenQ G2222HDAL so I don't know whether it is about monitor or not. Because this vibration thing is not same with other games. Is there any way to test these things? I just checked Inversion Artifact test from UFOtest and I noticed that the color of moving image is different than static image. Here is the image. https://imgur.com/WDnA4D2 3) G-Sync Problem I just checked reviews about G-Sync compatibility of XG240R. Accoring to reviews there is no issue about it. However, while I was using Nvidia 417.71 driver, when G-Sync is ON, the screen was going black for 0.5-1 sec when I switch to fulscreen while watching a video on browser. It was fixed when I updated latest driver. However, while playing some games, there is still something wrong. While playing League of Legends fps capped to 120 in game, the brightness of monitor is flickering sometimes for a sec. There was no problems like these with my XG2530 while G-Sync is ON even with 417.71 driver. I just tried G-Sync with R6 Siege. When I opened game, the screen went black for a sec. It is also same when I alt+tab to desktop. The screen goes black for a sec everytime when I alt+tab like it is adjusting G-Sync. G-Syns was set to Fullscreen in Nvidia panel. The brightness flicking also occurs while loading in games. I think it's something about FPS variation because while loading maps the fps drop to 80-90. Note: I also want to mention that I was using MSI RTX 2080 DUKE OC with my XG2530 and RMA'd it due to coil whine problem get a new MSI RTX 2080 DUKE OC. So, I am using new card with XG240R. 4) Whitish Thing There is no visible backlight bleeding on my monitor. However, when I look my monitor above, there is whitish thing on the right side of the screen from top to bottom when the background is black.. Here is the image. Is this normal? https://imgur.com/gjlZ0eo
  11. Hello. I just bought ViewSonic XG240R and I think it has image adjustment problem. As it is a little bit hard to explain it for me, I will add images to make it clear. 1st image is upper left corner of monitor. The black gap that I pointed is wider at this point. 2nd image is upper right corner of monitor. The black gap that I pointed is narrower than upper left corner of monitor. Black gap at the top left is wider and it start to narrows slightly from left to right. Therefore black gap at the bottom left narrower and it starts to widen slightly from left to right. Namely, it's like the panel is not flat and it is inclined 1 degree. Is it a defective panel or something about settings? Is there a way to test whether if the texts are on a straight line or tilted as the panel may be inclined as well? Note: Photos were taken from different angles so it may not seem as what I tried to explain. But I think you will have an idea what I meant.
  12. Windows 10 WHQL Support has 2 options. CSM and UEFI. I installed OS as UEFI. However Boot Mode Select is Legacy+UEFI and WHQL Support is CSM. Should I change both to UEFI? What does Windows 10 WHQL Support do when I set it to UEFI? I used it at 3200 before without any problem.
  13. Hello. There are some things I wonder about bios settings and I want to benefit from your experiences. My bios settings are at default now. 1) I don't want to overclock my system until I get decent CPU cooler. However, as my rams run at 2133 when dram set AUTO, I just want to use it at 3200 Mhz. When I try to use XMP profile, I realized that VCCIO and VCCSA values are a bit higher. If I set DRAM Frequency 3200 Mhz, VCCIO and VCCSA values are lower compared to XMP profile. What should I do for best result? Because when these volts are higher, the cpu also gets a little bit hotter. Should I also change RAM timings and VCCIO and VCCSA manually? 2) What are EIST, Intel Turbo Boost, Enhanced Turbo? Should I leave these settings alone? Should I enable Memory try it? Which one is better to use, Memory Try it or XMP? Memory Fast Boot is set to AUTO. does AUTO mean enabled or disabled? 3) All cpu protections are set to AUTO. Should I enable them or does auto mean enabled? 4) What is the difference between MSI Fast Boot and Fast Boot? Which one should I use? 5) In general, are there any wrong settings in my bios that I need to change? Thank you very much. 14. Hello. I just built my PC and everthing seems fine now. However I realized that a click sound is coming from PSU upon shutdown. Here is a sound of video which is exactly same with mine. Is this normal? I experienced something like this first time. https://youtu.be/_Pl6guNalHw?t=14 Also when I start my PC for the first time, it made similar sound and looked like starting but then powered off like I changed somethings in BIOS and then powered on again with a screen indicating You have changed CPU or memory please go BIOS. But then everything is working great. Is this also normal? PC SPECGeForce RTX 2080 Duke 8G OCIntel Core i7-9700KMSI MPG Z390 Gaming PlusGskill 16 GB (2x8GB) SniperX DDR4 3200MHz CL16 1.35V
