So I've got that itch to upgrade again, this time I've decided to start from scratch and sell my old PC, but I can't decide what GPU and CPU I want.
Computer will mostly be used for gaming on 1080p 144hz, eventually I might upgrade to a triple monitor setup. I tend to buy some AAA games now and then but I'm willing to not go for ultra graphics to get high FPS. Planning to stick with this computer 2-3 years before upgrading again probably...
For CPU I was thinking either i7-8700k or i7-9700k, I read that the 8th gen is actually better and since its cheaper it might be the better choice?
As for GPU I'm deciding between 2070 and 2080, It seems like the low end 2080s aren't much more expensive than the high end 2070s, but on the other hand comparing a low end 2070 to a low end 2080 makes the price difference pretty significant. What is most worth it?
Oh and also which manufacturer do. People prefer? I've been using MSI cards for a while and always been happy with them.
The rest of the computer isn't really planned yet but figuring CPU/GPU out is top priority
