  1. oh sh*t i didn't read that, so 1+ is out
  2. What are normal gains on bckl oc? about 2% ?
  3. Maybe just open up your Laptop and take some pictures. It is pretty hard to find anything on your specific Laptop without knowing the model number. If you can take a foto, it should be easy to say, if your gpu is soldered
  4. maybe an older model oneplus? I got my sister a 1+ 5t recently and she is really happy with it. It will also get Software updates for at least another year. If you get it used, it should be pretty cheap
  5. in my case, it is a Sony Vaio vpcf24m1e. I can overclock the GPU, i just can't adjust the voltage and power target.
  6. Hi Guys, Does anyone know how to unlock the voltage regulation for the GPU on Laptops? It is a Nvidia gt 540m in my case and I would like to overclock it a little higher. Cooling won't be a problem.
  7. I never heard the RAM brand before. If anyone knows it, it is ok for me, but if its unknown, i wouldn't buy it
  8. i have the beQuiet shadow rock 2 and i am very happy with it
  9. well anything over 35°C idle is pretty high in my opinion and if you can change it, why not?
  10. yes it is. While undervolting, your system might get unstable. If it does so, just dial the voltage back up a little. and go slowly, only 0.025V at a time or something. Between changes, run prime95 for stability and cinebench for performance test.
  11. undervolt you CPU. It will get you a lot better temps
  12. I didn't loose any performance. I undervolted the system on stock clocks, until it got unstable, then i dialed it back a little. I used prime95 and cinebench to check whether the system was still working correctly
  13. you can also try, to undervolt you CPU. I recently built a system with the 3600 non x and it had really high stock voltages. I went into the bios and lowered them by 0.2V. Now the temps are really good.
  14. should be fine, but i wouldn't buy exactly these parts. Get the ryzen 5 2600 if you want to save a few bucks or get the r5 3600. Dont get the 2600x. It is just an overclocked 2600
