I generally recommend people to buy the same RAM that they already have installed in their system. So buy 8GB (2x4GB) of whatever RAM you have now.

You still have 4 SATA ports to use, SATA ports are used for HDD's, SSD's that aren't the M.2 variety and optical drives (DVD, blu ray drives).
I'm just gonna say this won't pose a problem at all.
I could say something like "well you can only have 4 of such devices max..", but people don't use SATA devices that much anymore, so no this won't be a problem at all for you.
