  1. Hi long time reader first time post and I really didn't want to have to bring this here but I''m out of places to look for answers and I'm pretty confident in the advice given out within this community. I recently replaced the LCD panel for my Nitro 5 laptop to replace the one I smashed by dropping it. After about 10 minutes of use after the repair i closed the screen down and when I went to open it again the entire system refused to turn on not a blip. I believe somewhere in the line to the screen their is a short as when I unplug the display I can turn on the laptop granted I can't see the error messages that might be popping up it dose work and I've tried using the old display as even though it was severely damaged it still had at leas still produced a messy image and wouldn't work with that one either. I'm waiting for a new 30 pin video connecter to replace the old cable to see if that fixes the issue but it's not cheap and I need help to decide weather or not I'm wrong im thinking this is the issue. Thank you for your time
