  1. I considered buying one based on this video, but this German review essentially calls the panel technology garbage. Apparently edges with a strong contrast have colors. It's such a dealbreaker that they barely bother to talk about the monitor itself. https://www.heise.de/hintergrund/Monitor-mit-QD-OLED-im-Test-Samsungs-neue-Display-Technik-ist-verkorkst-6582133.html
  2. So I looked around and found ways to play audio on 2 audio devices at the same time using Stereo Mix. I'd like to do that on 3 though. Specifically I'd like to play audio from my 3 monitors (each connected by DisplayPort) and switch between them and my headset (connected by jack, if that's the right term) at will.
  3. Do not buy any of those Gigabyte Gaming cards. Their fans literally can't spin at speeds up to around 30% (varies slightly from card to card), which is totally fine according to Gigabyte. So what they'll do in the 1-30% range is constantly starting and stopping to spin, with a clearly audible clicking noise (again, normal according to Gigabyte) and the expected sound of sudden revving. I don't consider a custom fan curve a solution. You either have to run the fans at ~30% at all times (which is just noisy and throws their advertised semi passive cooling out of the window) or you set it to either run at 0% or at least 30%, which just makes it happen a bit less often. I have no idea why this isn't a bigger deal and never mentioned in any tests. It has apparently been going on since the 10 series cards.
  4. This loop started as an AIO Eisbaer 360. Pure Wings 2 are the fans that came with it and the various Eisbaer versions didn't exactly receive bad reviews. So can they really be that bad?
  5. Cobbled together my first water cooling setup. Just wondering if the temperatures are to be expected or if something is wrong. Components are: CPU: 9900k, not overclocked, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut GPU: 2080 Ti CPU Cooler/Pump/Reservoir: Alphacool Eisbaer GPU Cooler: Alphacool Eisblock GPX-N Radiators: 240 and 360 Alphacool something copper Fans: 120mm Pure Wings 2 on the radiators, 140mm NB-eLoop in the back CPU and Chassis 1-4 are the Pure Wings. Currently no idea why CPU and #1 miss over 100 RPM, all fans have the same curve and temperature source. Maybe because they're horizontal? It would probably be better if the 240 Fans would blow the other way, but... fan rears look dumb.
  6. Is there another shop for this? AliExpress charges $51.26 for the cheapest shipping method, which is insane. Meanwhile that Taobao site doesn't work at all. Those M_ATX and ATX buttons don't do anything, same goes for the add to cart and buy button.
