  1. I set up a mesh network in my house (3 Asus Lyra AC2200 nodes), but i have encountered some problems which i hope you can help me with. I have the main node in my basement right beside my modem, one in the middle floor, and one in the top floor. If i am in the kitchen, or in the middle floor bathroom (in between two nodes), the wifi suddently just doesnt work... It says i have full signal, but nothing will load, not even speedtest. It often works again after i turn wifi off and on, but it gets really annoying after a while. I suspect that, because i am in the middle of two nodes, the nodes struggle to know which node i should recieve wifi frow (if that made sense). The worst part is that sometimes, i can be just beside a node, and still get this instability issue. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Is there a way to fix this? I have googled arround but all i find is praise to how good Asus Lyra is... My modem is not in bridge mode, should it be? (for information, i have 500/500 fiber, so bandwith is not the issue here, when the network works, the speed is awesome everywhere in the house)
  2. Thanks for all the answers! Seems like most of you would go for the first option, so thats most likely what ill do ? Once again, Thanks!!
  3. I am currently looking at buying a new computer, as my trusty old ROG laptop from 2015 is getting a bit slow for me. I have found 2 potential candidates (both are used). They both cost around the same, and in benchmarks they score very similar, atleast when it comes to games. I am really struggling to choose, and am wondering if any of you have any input or experience with these parts, and can help me make a decission. The computer will mostly be used for 4k video and photo editing (Adobe suite, Davinci resolve). It will also be used for some gaming, but that is as important. The specs are as following: Computer 1: Fractal design define c (Not that important) G. Skill sniper x 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Amd Ryzen 5 2600 3.2GHz Asus prime B450 plus Samsung 860 evo 500GB SSD Corsair RM750x 750watt Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 OC pro NZXT Kraken X62 cpu cooler Computer 2: Intel i7 5960x @ 4.5Ghz Asus x99 strix gaming corsair vengeance 16Gb 3200mhz Corsair h115i rgb 400GB intel 750 ssd Asus strix vega56 flashed to vega64 bios Corsair RM750x Phanteks p650 (Not that important) "3Tb HDD" All answers are appreciated ?
  4. That is very true, and actually partially the reason of why i want full-frame in the first place. I do a lot of landscapes, and ive had a hard time capturing wide shots as my widest lens is 18mm, and on a crop sensor its way more. (Its wide, sure, but not enough). I havent done too much with long lenses, so i think i would be able to live without too much "zoom". Thank you very much for your answer!
  5. Yes the AF system is one of its worst features ive heard. I also thought of the eos r, but didnt bother as it was way too expensive at the time, i actually found a deal online just now for a brand new one with the EF adapter for 2200$. Considering this i actually think ill save up and go for the eos r! Thank you very much for you answer!
  6. I believe all my lenses are full-frame, so they should work with the 6D. I havent done too much action-photography, mostly landscapes and portraits. Its seems like the majority is telling me to rather go for the eos r, so that might be what ill do. Thank you so much for your answer!
  7. So here is the thing. I currently own a Canon 80D. Ive had it for a few years now, got it a couple of months after its release. Ive had a great time with this camera and it has done me well. Its been great for photography and has worked really well for videography aswell, despite its relatively low and friendly price. I am however looking into upgrading it. Its not a huge upgrade, not going full Linus here, but ive been looking at a used 6D mark ii. The reason i want to upgrade is beacuse id love to have a higher megapixel, full-frame sensor, which can deliver higher quality images and video, especially in lower light. I dont NEED 4K, but it would be nice of course. I am aware that the 6D does not have this, but id love to stay Canon, as i have invested in several EF-lenses. The question now is. Is it worth it to sell the 80D and spend a little extra for a 6D mark ii? I know the word "worth" is quite subjective, so i can say that upgrading would hurt slightly economically, but wouldnt be a disaster (could also sell a lesser used lens and just spend like 150$ upgrading). Ive seen a bunch of reviews on the 6D Mark ii and it seems like it would be a decent upgrade to what i have now. Now it doesnt need to be a 6Dii ofcourse, is there maybe another camera that has more value to it (around 1500-1600$), that would be better upgrading to? Keep in mind that both videography and photography are equally important, low-light capabitlity is appreciated (full-frame?), and the rest is up to you. Not sure if i have been specific enough, but if i need to clarify anything, please forgive me and tell me bellow. (my first post, please dont tear me apart if ive done anything wrong ?)
