  1. it will fit a thin rad under the roof. picture on the site showed it couldn't do a thick one. http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/nzxt_phantom_410_review,9.html
  2. +1 this. In the end pick whats best for the use case and the price you can justify. both are good IMO.
  3. I can wear them all day. its preference if you wanted to use Velour over the faux leather though. outside of the more expensive headsets from audio companies. HyperX is the only one i can recommend all day, every day over other sets in the price range from peripheral makers.
  4. HyperX because build quality and they sound good. price is reasonable for what you get at $100 USD.
  5. Sennheiser G4ME ONE. I use PC 350 SE's. The build quality is nice and very similar to it. You also don't have to do that rubber band trick with the wing design on them if they don't fit like you might have to on the audio technica's. if your set on either of these then pick which one you like and go with it. anyone who says they suck has either never tried them or is an audio troll. They obviously won't be they cheapest option but everyone has a different use case and a preference to their audio. (Headset or HP w/mic)
  6. Pretty much what they said. QcK user myself. Its nice for $10. Lasts awhile as long as you keep it clean. Metal hard mats are nice too if you want your mouse to glide without any resistance.
  7. I personally don't mind Razer stuff. Used a Deathadder 3.5G for 3 years and now a Razer Taipan. Both Worked well. But since you don't want razer. Logitech G502 Proteus Core is very good. Tried one out at a local bestbuy. It feels very good in the hand. Will buy just to own at some point. My only compliant is that Nike/Gatorade sports looking blue. Solid black or more colors would of be such amaze.
  8. Kingston HyperX Cloud or Sennheiser PC 350 SE Both would be quite good. PC 350 SE User myself. No complaints. bought mine back when they were $127 Two day shipped. cheaper then the headphone variant at that time. If you console game they will need an Astro Mixamp.
  9. I use a Phoebus. ROG command and the breakout box on my desk where nice features for me to have/use. Paid $130 for mine. Improvement were subtle but present. Also depends on the cans used with them. Hard to drive stuff will be much better on the card then onboard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gotta love forums and the internet. right? everyone saying your not cool or your stuff sucks. lol Asked questions, Gets rude response...no mods near. Yep, sounds about right.
  10. Their Closed back. Positional awareness with closed are going to be less then what you'd get with open pair. but still usable for gaming IMO. Closed are for Isolation and Open for Sound stage. COPs are a versatile headphone for on the go use with a portable and some PC gaming when you add on the mic attachment they make. If the sale is really good, I'd say buy them. If you want open, HD558 w/ an V-Moda BoomPro mic would be a good choice too. IMO
  11. 8200 DPI w/ my Razer Taipan @ 1080P. Hybrid Fingertip-Claw Grip. BF4 PC sens is 7%. Perfectly usable in-game and on windows 7 for me. Find your preference. Speed or Control and/or Speed with Control if you practice a lot and can adjust without needing to switch back and forth DPI settings. I focus on controlling the speed and the accuracy follows very soon after. took me 24 Hrs to get use to 8200 from 3500. On my consoles I even play @ 9/10 depending on which games since now its more like 12/14 CoD or even 90% in BF4.
  12. no. but the only one worth mentioning. NZXT HUE is also an option. RGB LEDs and a few Basic Mode light effects. I've had my HUE running for a few months straight now without any burned out lights.
  13. Not even worth the $90. Maybe $50. I Feel like fractal should bury this case and hit the redo button if they want the higher price to stick. I wouldn't recommend this case to anyone at its current price. Many better options for not much more or even less sometimes. You were spot on with the review. Do more like this.
  14. In my case I'm a Hardware Enthusiast and I wanted the best performance I could afford. Went i7-4770K and GTX 770. I only 1080P game so GTX 770 was a solid choice. also was going to swap out after a year or so of service once GTX 800s are out. To each is their own. IMO. If you have the cash and you want it....buy it. It won't make sense if your going to run High/Low setup long term. I ran my old GTX 550 Ti for a month before I recovered cost from moving to Haswell from my old AMD AM2+.
  15. Primary Recommendation: Kingston HyperX Cloud. Best value sound. Best Functionality for the Price. Headphones/Headset At Home/Portable (if you wanted to, you could) Even has that adapter for airplanes. Alternate Recommendation: Any Headphone with a removable cable w/ V-Moda Boom Pro mic would be an option. I don't care for the Modmic. Its not a clean solution and you have to stick it to your cans. NOTE: Sennheiser Headset are excellent but pricey if you don't get a good deal. I bought my PC 350 SE from amazon for $127 shipped. cheaper then getting the comparable headphone and mic combo with the same high quality for sound. Shop around for deals if you want the high end all-in-one solutions from audio companies. Their full retail price is only justifiable if you don't buy a lot of cans or if you know its exactly what you want to spend your money on.
  16. Its UI looks really good and 1440P screen is pretty sharp looking. That middle ground of stock and custom is what I did to my Moto X.
  17. I use NOVA Launcher + Prime and hide my icons on all Home Screens. Tap home button or swipe up to show them. Double tap to enter app drawer. Also use folders in hide away lower for all my useful and often used apps so I never use the App Drawer much. Clean look is very cool with the Stealth Icon pack I use from the Play store. Moto X - 16GB (BLK) Verizon
  18. From the album: MISC

Screenshot. Showing off home page layout.
  19. MaxKeyboard Nighthawk X8 - White LED - MX Browns First Mechanical Keyboard? Browns or blacks would be a good choice IMO. Blues are good too if you don't mind the click. I'd recommend getting a MX Sampler before choosing a keyboard. MaxKeyboard makes one and so does Cooler Master.
  20. whats your budget on a CPU. your not saving by buying a non K version of the model that is an K variant. Price difference is ~$20 US Also Z97 board are pretty affordable too. idk, buy what you want.
  21. for the price of the i7 4790 it would be best to go K. more for your money. IMO your not saving much by not going K in that case. Pure gaming the i7 doesn't help 100% of the time if at all sometimes. Hyper threading is mostly for productivity in apps the use HT. like rendering/editing video, etc. I Personally ran i7 since i wanted the best CPU i could get for my money and because I think of my PC more of an investment then a device. Similar to how one thinks of a Good Car.
  22. If only had the cash. This would looks good in my build. I wonder how these would do in SLI.
  23. buy 2 Titan Z's and use one as a door stop and the other as a coaster. buy a nice affordable house and a cool car max out current pc for 4K gaming save the rest and call it a day.
  24. HAF X 942 Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H i7-4770k Scythe Ninja 3 16GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengeance EVGA GTX 770 2GB 120GB Kingston HyperX 3k SSD 2TB Seagate Barracuda Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 3 year warrenty from seller. refresh page and you can read the parts list. also if lazy i put his list in a build on pcpartpicker. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3dDH8d its about $700 dollars in profit. IMO hes only charging $400 more then he should. also this was a bid item. more then likely this ended in a bidding war in that $700 of profit.
