  1. Playing it on PS4. LVL 17 Hunter. Its alright. worth trying out IMO. 8/10 Thoughts: PvE (story) plays great but the PvP (Crucible) plays anywhere from meh to good depending on who your up against. I assume PvP will take some "adjusting" (Dying Often) before it becomes "fun" (playable). Guns don't feel very strong on top of it taking multiple Headshots to kill (4+ in my case). super abilities are fun to use but not to die by. Flashbangs will hurt your eyes.
  2. @DeathRtH Kingston HyperX Cloud $79.99 USD (New) http://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-KHX-H3CL/dp/B00JJNQG98 Or Sennheiser PC 350 SE $134.99 USD (New) - $112.99 USD (USED:Like New - Amazon Warehouse Deals) http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Special-Edition-Performance-Headset/dp/B008O510Y8 Otherwise, Headphone+MIC combo. Save more then $85 and you could get something better like the PC 350 SE or a Good HP in the $100-$200 range. I.E. HD558/DT770/etc.
  3. $849 AUD = $793.33 USD Still Expensive for a "Box" to put your parts in. I'd want more functionality for that much. My cutoff is at $300. Even then it better do something amaze.
  4. @solarflare 325A is faster and more maneuverable while the hornet is is a straight up close range fighter. 325A has a bed for long flights. That will matter at some point i'm sure. Doubt either could take out something like a constellation by itself. 325A should be sufficient no matter what you do with it. Probably a good choice for solo or even a small groups of highly skilled pilots. Personally see hornets being only useful to pure dogfighter players or large orgs.
  5. Arena Commander is fun to me. Racing will add something else to do when it comes out soon. You buy into a ship for a price that you wish to back the game for. you can earn anyship in game later when the Universe releases. you are just getting a nicer head start of a ship for backing the devs. Differences in Variants is the starting "Stock" gear it comes with. Hornet might be a good merc ship since its most suited to a dogfight right now in AC (Ship Escorting as a merc could be a thing). But a good pilot could tip that advantage. 300 series will be a good multi role ship that can do whatever you want it to. Maybe get a 325A. it won't win in a head to head with a hornet though. boom-n-zoom is how to win. I died a lot before I understood this. lol
  6. If you interested in the idea of what they are making then back the game with the $ amount you feel is both affordable for you and what you think your interest is in the game. In my case I bought a 325A to get me started. But will buy additional ships and/or trade to see the other ships when you can fly them. I'd recommend the Arena Commander Starter ($45) or an Aurora LN with Arena Commander Module ($45 + $5). but you could go cheaper. (Aurora MR $30 + AC $5) At the very least you can tryout some basic MP with other players or fight AI Bots in a survival mode right now with racing on the way. then at some point you'll get an SP game with Squadron 42 and the MP Persistent Universe MMO game later; since you paid to back the games development.
  7. I Second this. HUE is very good. hope the do an more advanced model in the future. more control and customizable lighting effects would be nice.
  8. ASUS GTX770 is whats in my PC. runs cool and quiet. plus Backplate. http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX770DC2OC2GD5/
  9. I use dual monitors but never for gaming. It more for productivity or laziness. I keep web pages open or music on the extra display. sometimes TV when i'm bored.
  10. HD 380 Pro / DT 770 are nice closed backs. HD558 / ATH-AD700x are good open backs.
  11. COP if your going to be moving around with them and they have an Microphone attachment you could buy to turn it into a headset when gaming at home. the mic extra sounds pretty decent from the YT videos i've seen. if COP is an option maybe V-Moda LP2 since portable and can also be a headset when gaming. idk its an option. Comes down to use case. Is portable something your going to value at some point?
  12. HyperX Cloud. Gaming Headset. Pretty decent for what it is. Good Value IMO. you can buy them New for $79.99 Amazon or Used: Like New for $65.83 Amazon Warehouse Deals. Like New is New just scuffed/dinged packaging. http://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-KHX-H3CL/dp/B00JJNQG98
  13. Phanteks Luxe but pro if you can't spend more. Otherwise H440 in a color of choice. I'm personally digging the Razer Edition's Matte Black with Green accents. White in general is also very nice to look at. especially with a lot of black parts.
  14. for me it would be... Video Game collection, DXRacer chair, and my Tactical Peg Board of Airsoft guns. PC/PS4 look pretty cool/stealth in my setup too.
  15. you could get PC 350 SE's for around $130 Free shipped from amazon warehouse deals in very good condition. new is about $8 more. otherwise HyperX Cloud is pretty decent. dedicated HP option would be HD518/HD558/HD380 Pro for the $80-$130 In the case of the HD380 you'd better off getting the PC 350 SE if for gaming since price isn't much more IMO and they are the same cans/set specs wise. PC 350 version just has a mic and marketed to gaming. still retains sennheiser quality.
  16. WD Blacks if your going to throw your entire steam gaming library on it. WD Blacks are not noisy unless you don't screw them into a HDD Tray. Lazy people or no sound builders are the ones that usually complain about them being "too loud". Their Audible but not loud. Average fan speeds noise should mask it. graph shows WD Black 1TB/2TB/4TB sound levels. http://techreport.com/review/24487/wd-black-4tb-hard-drive-reviewed/3
  17. G502. Used it again the other day at a shop when I went their to get a Logitech X3D Pro joystick for Star Citizen. Its defiantly the best mouse I've held yet. Accurate and feels good in hand.
  18. I run it pretty decent with my PC on High @ 60 FPS in the Hanger and in AC. I7-4770K 3.5GHz 8GB DDR3 1866MHz GTX 770 2GB
  19. MaxKeyboard NightHawk CM Storm Quickfire TK/Ultimate My Favorite Boards. MX Clears are my favorite switch but being rare i use Blues/browns. May have to buy a WASD CODE.
  20. 8200 @ 1080P 100% of the time. I Can 90 degree turn with less then a 1/4 inch of movement. I've always like a sensitive mouse or controller. On consoles I'm usually maxing that slider out or almost. 10/10 or (8/9/)10
  21. PNY FX5200 256MB...Also Have a Gigabyte HD4650 1GB AGP. Had these in my old P4 dell system many years ago. I use them as coasters now.
  22. Deathadder 3.5G was pretty good to me for 2 years till I mashed in Mouse 4 too hard. and G502 lives up to the reviews. (best mouse shape I've tried thus far) Razer Taipan is good IMO if your looking for a mouse that has a slim profile and is ambidextrous. Its what i use currently, no complaints.
  23. Max Keyboard's Translucent Black set w/Side Print text. very cool with white led's on my Max board.
  24. WD Blacks are not loud. IMO. SSDs if sound/performance is your thing.
  25. Clears>Browns>Blues>Blacks>Green>reds I'd game on any of them except reds. I'd rather stick to a membrane then reds, like my razer deathstalker I use in my KB rotation. Clears are my fav.
