Got myself kinda weird PSU that got two 6 pin PCIe power connectors and only one 4 pin CPU power connector. It's going into Xeon 2660 build, so I kinda want to have more CPU power. I knew it's ok to only plug 4 pin into 8 pin CPU power slot, but since I have EPS-12V connector (CPU 8 pin) laying around and this Xeon is kinda borderline on 4 pin I would like to remove some pins from PCIe power and 4pin CPU and put them into CPU 8pin.
I noticed that CPU and PCIe 12v are inverted, yes.
^ I'm planning to remove pins 1,3,4 and 6 from PCIe 6 pin and put them into 7,8,3 and 4 pins in EPS-12V respectively. And from ATX-12V to 4 "left" pins in EPS-12V.
It's probably ok. Just want some sort of sanity check, lol
