  1. Hello. I know this is kind of niche to the HyperX community, but their reddit is dead and support are brainless so I need some smart people in forums. I have a Hyper X Cloud II wireless headset. I was having issues, so I bought another one and I'm still having the same issues. The headset has audio stutters and crackles, but only when I play games. Discord, YouTube, etc. All other audio functions work correct. Please help, thanks.
  2. Thanks guys. Bought this- Cooler Master MasterLiquid LC240E RGB Close-Loop AIO CPU Liquid Cooler, 240mm Radiator Seems like it's strong enough after some basic research. I would've never thought that it was my cooler because I've never had any past problems. BTW, for all you cooling nerds, I did a CPU-Z stress and it went from 54 to 100C in two readings (about 2 seconds) I find that kind of thermal energy quite fascinating lol
  3. Hey guys. Just upgraded to an i9-9900KF and it's running... HOT (100C). I put it in and I noticed the temperatures were pretty hot while on the BIOS (65C), significantly hotter than my i7-9700K at idle. Well, my BIOS wasn't updated so my computer locked up on the windows screen. Here's where we find out it's specific to the CPU. I put my i7 back in, it's running at it's default temps that I was used to seeing, 43C, in the BIOS. Flashed my BIOS, reinstall the i9. I make it through the Windows screen, SUPER HYPE because it's working, then I get a thermal alert. I immediately open my temp software and see it's at 100C while my computer is simply starting up my background programs, Discord, Chrome, ETC. The cooler is a 2015 Cooler Master H60 (at least I think that's what it's called and I put 2015 because I know there's a new version out). I've never had any problems with it, it kept my 4790K cool, and it kept my 9700K cool. Thermal paste is the ARCTIC MX-4. Applied generously and I have checked to make sure it spread. It has and the whole CPU is covered. I've linked a video of the temps while my PC is performing startup. I'm out of ideas. I've checked voltage, clock speeds, etc. Running fan at 100% on the cooler doesn't stop it from breaching 90s and up to 100. Please help.
  4. Unfortunately not new or under warranty. However, it's only had average use and it's only 2 and a half years old. It's cosmetically in perfect condition as well. I'm baffled.
  5. So, my wheel when plugged in to both my Xbox and PC doesn't recognize and is unusable. I just get the constant flash. I can't do any driver work because it's not recognized by Windows in the first place. GHub also doesn't recognize it. I'm pretty upset and I've exhausted and tried everything, so please hit me with some suggestions. Thanks.
  6. Yeah I tried it. It was super snug and tight fit. Converter is out for delivery right now so I’m going to mark this as solved. If it doesn’t work with the converter I’ll have to geeksquad it.
  7. My B85M only needed 4 pin. That’s why. I have another 4 pin but it doesn’t fit right.
  8. Okay update. I flipped them back, and there’s no flashy flashy on the debug lights, but I still don’t have display. Again, im sure it’s probably something to do with trying to redneck my cpu power right now, but I’m just double checking.
  9. Se, that’s what I thought! But once I flipped them the light went away. I’ll flip them back though because I thought that was right. Thanks for the input.
  10. Hello! I went from a B85M motherboard with an i7-4790K to a Z370 A-Pro and an i7-9700K. I’m going to admit right off the bat that I’m trying to redneck my computer right now. Rebuilt and hooked everything back up. Started it up, no display. CPU and RAM debugs we’re flashing like a 1-2, 1-2, type deal. Moved ram slots, they turned off when I pressed the power back on. Everything seems fine now because no debug lights are in and everything is lit up like it’s supposed to be. Now, the redneck part. I’m using a 4pin connect on an 8pin female right now for CPU power. I have the converter on the way. Is it not starting because of that or something else? Side note, my liquid cooler fan(H60) isn’t running. I tried switching to the two places I’d think it be, but I think it’s a side effect of the main problem. What slot should the fan be in? Why no display? Pictures included.
  11. https://amzn.to/2TrMSn0 Yeah I realized it was DDR3. What about this brand? Comes in a 16GB kit. And yes, I know how much I need quantity wise, just not sure at all about which kind. Example, should I pay to buy the Corsair instead of this brand, etc.
  12. Is this good or should I invest more money? It's going to be used for streaming and gaming
  13. I currently am using an i7-4790k with an ASUS B85M as the motherboard. On the way I have an i7-9700k and an MSI Z370-A PRO motherboard coming. I'm pretty sure I'm still on DDR3 memory from when I built this PC 4 years ago. Im literally clueless when it comes to RAM memory and stuff. Thanks.
