  1. Solved. I just had to update the bios using the USB Flashback . After that everything worked fine.

  3. Hey, I got a new mobo/cpu/ram. Asus TUF Gaming B650-PLUS Ryzen 5 7600X 2x16GB Kingston ValueRAM KVR48U40BS8K2-32 But when I installed everything I got some LED warnings on the mobo. And it's not going into bios. Video with LEDs The LEDs are: CPU DRAM VGA BOOT First DRAM and CPU are lit for a second. Then VGA stays on for 20 seconds. After that the system reboots and it starts all over. Nothing is shown on my screen (obviously). I reseated every component (cpu, ram, gpu) and connector. I took out the cmos, turned off power, waited a while. I tried with the cmos of my old motherboard. I tried running it without my GPU, using the iGPU. Nothing helps so far Fyi this is paired with (which was working before) Asus GTX 1080 Corsair H100i AIO Corsair CX650M My old cpu/... were an i7 3960x/asus p9x79 pro/24GB DDR3 Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
  4. I also just tried to put my GPU in a difference pcie slot, but of course that so doesn't help.
  5. Thanks. Just tried without my GPU, but that seems to give the same issue.
  6. Hey, I got a new mobo/cpu/ram today. Asus TUF Gaming B650-PLUS Ryzen 5 7600X 2x16GB Kingston ValueRAM KVR48U40BS8K2-32 But when I installed everything I got some LED warnings on the mobo. 7. I might be getting a Ryzen 5 7600x, but I'm wondering if I will still be able to use my Corsair Hydro H100i PRO. Does anyone know if this cooler supports AM5? Thanks.
  8. I was planning on getting an 13600k with 2x16GB of DDR4 (3200) memory. But there is now a deal on the 7600x, making it €100 cheaper than the 13600k... Of course I need to got with DDR5 memory in that case, but there's also a deal on some 2x16GB DDR5 (4800) for only €10 more than this DDR4 memory. Don't know which exact motherboard. but will be in the same price range. (€250-€300 I support). (maybe 1700: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 / AM5: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS) I don't plan on overclocking. I mainly game, but also do quite some Photoshop, AfterEffect and PremierePro. So yeah, I'm pretty confused on what to do now. Would like to cut the price as much as possible, it seems like the 13600k is quite a bit better in productivity. Thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks. Hopefully I can get a deal on Black Friday for the 13600KF. What would be an acceptable VRM? I guess I can save €15 with going for 3200, thanks. And my PSU is about 3 years old so that should still be fine
  10. Hey, Currently rocking a 10+ year old i7 3960x. Still working fine without issues. but I definitely feel it is often the bottleneck at the moment, while it should be my GPU. Budget (including currency): €600-700 (lower is better of course) Country: Belgium, Europe Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General gaming, currently mainly playing PUBG, Civ5, ... Also do quite some Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Other details Only need a new CPU/MOBO/RAM combo. The first main consideration is DDR5 vs DDR4. Unless someone can convince me, I don't feel like DDR5 is worth it for me at the moment. I think the price of the memory and DDR5 MOBOs will limit my options too much, given my budget. So this automatically excludes Ryzen 7xxx CPUs. CPU Mainly debating about 12600KF vs 13600KF right now (don't need an iGPU). The 12600KF is about €285 (Tray), while the 13600KF is about €385 (Boxed). Is the 13600KF worth the extra €100? Or will this be overkill and should I just go with a 5700x or something like a 12400? MOBO No clue to be honest. I know I need to make sure I can update the BIOS if I go with the 13600KF and a B660 /Z690 board. Is it worth going for a "cheap" mobo and putting most of my budget in the CPU? Or do the reverse, put my money in a good mobo, get a cheaper CPU now and possibly upgrading in a few years. RAM Not too picky about this, I can get 32GB DDR4 (Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x16GB 3600) for €115. Pretty sure that's good enough for now, no? Current setup: CPU - i7 3960x (to be replaced) MOBO - Asus P9X79 Pro (to be replaced) RAM - HyperX 16GB(4X4GB) 1333MHz (DDR3) (to be replaced) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i AIO (Need bracket?) GPU - ASUS GTX 1080 SSD1 - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB (SATA) SSD2 - Samsung 970 EVO 2TB (M.2) HDD - WD 2TB 5400RPM CASE - NZXT Phantom 410 (mid tower, white) PSU - Corsair CX650M Thanks.
  11. Hi, I'm having issues with this new motherboard I just bought. It's an MSI X470 GAMING PLUS (CPU Rysen 7 2700X) I connected everything to the mobo and when I powered it on, after a few seconds, a red LED lit up (the VGA one, next to the 24 pin connector, see image). Everything seems to receive power (leds and fans from all components are on/running). At first I thought there was an issue with the GPU (msi gtx 970), but I put it into another pc and in that system it works without issue. [NO GPU ISSUE] Then I thought maybe the GPU didn't receive enough power from the PSU. So I connected another PSU (Corsair RM650,which is currently in my other pc without issues). And that gave me the same result. So I dont think there is an issue with my current PSU. [NO PSU ISSUE] I plugged in the GPU into another PCI-e slot, same result. [NO PCI-e ISSUE] My monitor does receive some kind of signal since it "lights up" (just a black image though). But nothing of the bios is shown. I'm out of ideas at this point, so if anyone could help me out that would be awesome. Full system specs: Mobo: MSI X470 Gaming plus (new) CPU: Rysen 7 2700X (new) RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4-3000 Team Vulcan (new) SSD: Samsung 860 EVO M.2 (new) HDD: WD blue 2TB (new) PSU: Sharkoon WMP500 (from previous system, didnt have any issues in there) GPU: MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G (from previous system, works in other pc) Thanks.
  12. Went to a local store and was able to test the Logitech z623 and man... I instantly fell in love.
  13. Then I don't see why you shouldn't go for the 7500. It's supposedly 6-9% better. Nice build btw, I would add 8GB more RAM though. But that's just me, I'm a pretty heavy user.
  14. So last night my speakers died and while I'm still mourning, I know it's time to move on and get me some new ones. My budget is about €100 (this includes taxes). I might spend up to €150, but then I need to be sure that the price is justified. I use my pc for watching movies, gaming and listening to music, so I'm searching for some good all-round speakers. So far I've found these Trust GXT 38's for €75, but I was hoping you guys could present me some alternatives. Oh yeah, might be worth mentioning: preferably, the speakers would be a 2.1 setup. I don't want the hassle 5.1 (wire-wise) and I want a strong decent bass (that's where the.1 comes in). Thanks.
