  1. Is my only option is to buy a new SSD?
  2. I already have another similar ssd in that slot and it's the boot drive.
  3. I am trying to install below SSD in Ultra M2 PCI Express socket of my motherboard. But the system is not detecting the SSD (not even in the BIOS). Is it because I am installing a M2 SATA SSD in a M2 PCIE slot? Should I buy a new SSD? Any suggestions? 4. Budget (including currency): $50 - $60 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: NAS Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have ASRock A75M-ITX Motherboard + AMD A6-3500 + 4GB RAM. I am looking to build a NAS for cheap. Any suggestions on the case and power supply? Would I need anything else (except for hdds)?
  5. Thanks @SupaKomputa, @Electronics Wizardy, @berberries. Can you suggest a cheap option for the drives? Is buying used a good option?
  6. Buying it used from one of my peers for $40. Worth? 4-5 TB should be enough. Considering this is my first try at this, I am thinking of going for something cheap. Any suggestions on the drives and OS? Raid 1 sounds good.
  7. I am pretty new to this. Can you suggest something?
  8. Can I use below build as a decent NAS? If no, any suggestions on what can I use it for? ASRock A75M-ITX + AMD A6-3500 + 4GB RAM
  9. I am looking to put together a cheap (very cheap actually) system. I have 8GB DDR3 lying around. Which CPU and motherboard should I go for? and where should I buy them from? Is anyone interested in giving away something that you are not using? Use: Web browsing and light gaming
  10. Is it worth buying Ryzen 7 1700 for $100? I am currently using Ryzen 3 1300X and was thinking of an upgrade. Is it worth it?
  11. Is it worth buying EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 SSC (Model number is 02G-P4-2966-B6) for $60? I will be adding it to a machine with Ryzex 1300X (which unfortunately is not working right now). I will mainly be using it to play CS GO and similar games.
  12. I recently put together below build with a used SSD and graphics card. I am getting "Video Scheduler Internal Error" within 15 minutes of starting the pc and I have to reinstall Windows to start it again. I tried updating the drivers, but I always get above error in between the update. Is it because of the graphics card? What might be causing this? 14. @BlueChinchillaEatingDorito I executed "mdsched.exe" command and there were no memory issues found.
  15. @VivekK Yes, I am using an old SSD. @BlueChinchillaEatingDorito I will try executing "mdsched.exe" through command prompt. I don't know how to execute MemTest86 through a USB drive.
  16. @BlueChinchillaEatingDorito I would have to install Windows again to run this, correct?
  17. I recently put together my first build with below specs and installed Windows 10 pro using a USB stick. Installation was successful, but after 15-20 minutes Windows crashed with BSOD (critical process died). After the restart Windows did not load and was redirected to "Advance Repair" window. I performed a system restore and Windows loaded successfully. But after running for ~15 minutes Windows crashed again with BSOD (critical process died). And now I am not even getting the option for system restore. I have now installed Windows twice and it ends with the same issue. Can it be related to some hardware incompatibility?
