You can go just straight to 5001.

If you are NOT using the USB BIOS Flashback method (e.g. plugging the USB stick in and updating through BIOS), you do not need to rename it.
You have to rename it if using USB BIOS Flashback because the motherboard is in bare-to-the-bone-minimum "headless" mode.
The XXXX.CAP IS the BIOS image.

You don't have to use the BIOSRenamer tool...
It is LITERALLY the same as YOU right-click -> Rename -> type in "SX570EG"

    Update the BIOS first.
You are using a REALLY old BIOS version.

The best method, to minimize the chance of corrupting the motherboard, is by using the tried-and-trued method -> putting the BIOS file onto a USB flash drive.
Updating it through internet or within Windows adds complexity, and more chances for things to go wrong.

    Some reminder tips:
Download the latest BIOS file onto your PC / another PC / laptop. Unzip / extract the downloaded folder. Format a USB stick to FAT 32. Copy JUST the BIOS file (XXXX.CAP) onto the USB flash drive. As someone already mentioned, your higher-end motherboard has the USB BIOS Flashback feature.
Even if you DO corrupt the BIOS, you can recover it.

Unless I'm missing something.., if your board can't adjust the fan speeds, wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to buy a fan controller?

Yeah, so long as it isn't ancient, but I'd avoid paying a lot for anything on AM4 at this point.

if the specs are the same, they are mostly made of the same parts anyway. Names like Corsair Gskill TeamGroup Kingston just do the binning and packaging. Memory chips are made by Samsung, Micron and SK Hynix, brands you commonly see all buy memory chips from these 3 (aside from Crucial, they are under Micron so everything's Micron unless Micron doesn't make them)

I don't know if you've got the money for this but..I'd throw this 3200mhz cl14 kit into the mix as well (Confirmed samsung b die kit too):

I too trust corsair more but I'm kinda biased because my pc and peripherals are plagued with corsair stuff. They've also got very good customer service. I'd get the first kit you mentioned, but if you want to squeeze absolutely everything out of your ryzen build, then the kit I've mentioned gets that job done without rgb.

those are both the same speeds and timings, go with the cheaper option.

Personally I trust Corsair more then G. Skill although both will do the job for many years to come.  Just get the one that is cheapest.

For the look mostly. You can switch the side panels and have the PC to the left of you and be able to see inside. There are many native inverted cases like the older Corsair 600
You do not need to invert the case to allow anything to fit. Hardware compatibility should be the same regardless of the orientation. (At least that's my understanding)

They have returned to a pretty much normal level recently, prices may drop a little further soon, yes

Continued price drops are likely, but they've already dropped a lot.

It seems like it's old stock since they should've been updated with AM4 kits by now.
For a bit more, I'd suggest going with the similar Mugen 5 Rev. B instead: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/8GBrxr/scythe-mugen-5-rev-b-512-cfm-cpu-cooler-scmg-5100
If you want a longer warranty or slimmer cooler to make working around the motherboard a bit easier, the NH-U12S is a great alternative that performs just slightly worse: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/7dTrxr/noctua-nh-u12s-se-am4-cpu-cooler-nh-u12s-se-am4

I recomend using this one: https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15/

According to BQ Website your tower has an available cooler height of 185cm, the cooler will use 165cm.
