  1. It's just a random youtube video so it might indeed be the case that it's because of the quality of the video itself. But I do also notice colour banding with the desktop picture that comes with the laptop, though at a much lesser degree. I've only used OLED on my iphone before so I have no idea if its within the normal range of banding that larger size oleds may have.
  2. This a brand new Asus Zenbook S13 OLED, both pictures are taken at maximum brightness, HDR disabled.
  3. I tested with a grayscale and it's pretty apparent that the colour isn't smooth. The picture is taken at maximum brightness.
  4. I just got a new Asus Zenbook S13 OLED. What I findcis that when displaying transitions from a brighter to a darker grade of colour it seems blocky and you can see lines and circles separating different shades of a colour. It's a bit difficult to see in the photo but it's much more apparent when looking directly at the screen, in effect it's kind of like what I saw on the older cheap displays. I've never used an OLED display on a PC before. Is it normal for OLED screen on laptops to be like this or is it a quality issue?
  5. 你当初办国际精品网了吗?我没办现在连国外慢死。。 I wonder are you connecting through CN2. 163 really sucks when connecting abroad.
  6. The two forums mentioned are really popular among Chinese hardware enthusiasts. They are famous respectively for recommanding expensive products and building extremely cheap DIY computers. But there are other dedicated forums you can check. For example, koolshare and enshan are great. (the two forums I mentioned are network focused because that's what I'm interested in)
  7. ¥199 or $29 per month for a 1000mbps fiber connection.
