  1. thank you guys for the input, I guess I have played games previously on my 1080p 60hz laptop and havent really had too much of an issue with tearing and i feel like 60hz to 75hz isnt going to be that much of a difference, the fs range is also pretty small being 38-75, I was already leaning towards the 144hz monitor but this thread pretty much sealed the deal, thanks!!
  2. Hey guys, so im wondering what monitor to go for the better gaming experience, the monitor options in my budget are. I have a ryzen 1600 + RTX 2060 Acer Nitro VG270U https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/model/UM.HV0EE.007 Samsung C27JG50 https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/monitor/detail/1281/C27JG50 they both pretty much costs the same where i live. All other options are unfortunately too expensive for me. The acer is a 75hz ips display with freesync and 1ms response time whereas the samsung has a curved 144hz VA display, which monitor would you personally purchase? also refresh rate asides which monitor is the sharper looking monitor?
  3. Hi all I'm new to PC Building and planning to build my first PC soon . Will pairing the new GTX 1660 bottleneck the Ryzen 2200g? as I'm planning to buy the 2200g first before the graphics card and game on it while saving up and eventually buying the GTX 1660. I will only game on this computer and don't care about video editing or streaming. How would it affect the performance of the graphics card? How much more of a performance (fps) gain will I receive if I held back and saved up for a Ryzen 2600 instead of the 2200G? Will it even be that big of a difference? I aim to play games at 1440p at 50-60 fps and 4k at 30 fps. Honest answers please
